Description
Villa Nicholas is 120m2 and located at the foot of Mount Aenos amongst the natural vegetation that consists of olive trees, pine and cypress trees that provides a lovely relaxed and friendly atmosphere. It has 2 bedrooms sleeping 4 with 3 bathrooms.
The private swimming pool is 7 x 5m, surrounded by sun loungers, parasols, seated patio area and barbecue. Lourdas Bay is within 1000 metres walking distance and offers 2 miles of sandy beach, exotic palm and banana trees with spectacular views of Zakynthos across the Ionion Sea. There is a local bus service for those not inclined to walk. The village itself provides many excellent restaurants, tavernas and shops within 200 metres of the villa.
Lourdas is located on the south coast and provides an excellent base to explore the many beauty spots in Kefalonia. There is also easy access to our capital Argostoli to enable you to spend an evening of entertainment, boutiques and designer shops or simply ‘people watch’ in the main square as you enjoy a glass of excellent local wine.
The accommodation is suitable for a self-catering family holiday or friends to enjoy a comfortable relaxing holiday. The property is not recommended for persons with a mobility problem.
With the backdrop of Mount Aenos, the well maintained garden includes a 7 x 5m private pool, sheltered patio area with outdoor seating and table, sun loungers and parasols, barbecue area and panoramic views of the Ionian Sea across to Zakynthos.
The blue flag Lourdas Beach is a two minute drive away and Trapezaki Beach is a four minute drive. A car is recommended as there is a steep incline walking back from the beach. The beaches have tavernas and restaurants where you can enjoy traditional Greek living and local hospitality.
The nearest bank is in Argostoli.

The nearest airport is Kefalonia Airport (our only one) and it is located 15km from Villa Nicholas. Our nearest port is based in Pessada 8km away, and will suit travellers coming via Zakynthos. Car hire is recommended so that the many delights of Kefalonia can be explored.
