Other beaches near the villa are Lourdas beach(12mins drive) Pesada & Avithos beach (20mins drive) & Lassi beaches(25mins drive). Local attractions are st Georges Castle dating from the 16th century(15mins drive) Ainos or 'black mountain' national park(30mins drive) and Mycenean graves of Mazarakaton dating from 1600B.C. Local Bars and cafes can be found in Vlahata(10 mins drive) and further shops, bars and clubs can be found in the capital Argostoli, which is a 20mins drive away. Other stunning attractions are Melissani underground lake/cave & Drogarati cave (45mins drive) & Antisamos beach and Mirtos beach are couple of the most famous stunning beaches of the island (50mins and 80mins drive respectively). Kefalonia airport is just a 20min drive.
