The apartment is situated on the ground floor with a gate from the south facing patio to the swimming pool making it safe for small children; a table and four chairs, plus a two seater chair,2 of our own sunbeds are provided. There are also sunbeds around the pool. From here you can watch beautiful sunsets over the sea. The property is gated from the road, and there are car parking facilities.
Our apartment has an open plan lounge with a sofa bed & a settee, LCD TV, Satellite TV,DVD player, bookcase with a good selection of books, nest of tables, air conditioning and ceiling fan. The dining area has a table & 6 chairs, & ceiling fan. The fully fitted kitchen has granite worktops and has a full sized cooker, washing machine, microwave, large fridge freezer, toaster & is fully equiped for all your needs, including plastic plates, beakers & cutlery for children.
Two bedrooms - the double has a fully tiled en-suite bathroom with high quality shower and shower screen. Bedroom with air conditioning and ceiling fan, wardrobes, vanity unit, hairdryer, clock radio with ipod dock, bedside tables. The twin bedded room has air conditioning, ceiling fan and black out blind, wardrobes, vanity unit, hairdryer & clock radio with ipod dock, bedside table. Radiators are provided in the cooler months. There is a large family bathroom & is fully tiled with high quality shower screen over the bath. Fly screens are fitted to all windows.
With lighthouse & sea views from the apartment & only 2 minutes down the road to the Blue Flag Beach (which has a new bar, toilets, sunbeds and showers) it is in an ideal location. From here a newly constructed coastal path runs east & west - to the harbour to the east & to Tomb of the Kings heritage site to the west.

We provide details in the apartment of various activities which can be undertaken, including walking, diving, all manor of watersports, lovely beaches, golf and a newly opened golf range. The Akamas Peninsula is one of the last remaining natural areas on the island protected by UNESCO. You can swim, cycle, walk and explore this very beautiful area of the island and not be disturbed. This is the westerly point of the island and contains many hundreds of plant species, bird species, mamals and reptiles. Troodos mountain range stretches across most of the western side of Cyprus, offering cool sanctuary and idyllic hours spent in long walks in its scented pine forests in summer and winter sports and ski-ing in winter. There are many famous mountain resorts, Byzantine monasteries and churches on mountain peaks, and nestling in its valleys and picturesque mountain villages clinging to terraced hill slopes one such is Plátres where there are many tavernas, or you could visit a winery.

It is a 20 minute drive from the airport to the apartment, either by local bus which meet each flight, taxi, or car. We can advice on each of these. A new road is in the process of being built which should make it even quicker.
