The villa is within easy reach of the regions historical sites and fantastic beaches as well as Kalkan’s wonderful array of quality restaurants. The village centre is a few minutes drive away (we can provide a hire car for as little as £23 per day) or a 20-30 minute walk. There is also a Dolmus service (local bus) that runs past the villa every hour. This will take you right to the centre of the village and back for the princely sum of 40p each way! The local supermarkets will deliver your shopping to the villa free of charge and there is a small shop within a few minutes walk that sells very basic provisions. The villa is located in the Kiziltas area of Kalkan and because of its elevated position, the views are probably some of the best you'll see in all of Kalkan - they are truly breathtaking.
Villa Dolluca can accommodate between 2 - 6 guests (the 5th and 6th guests would be accommodated on the single-sized sofa / day beds in the living area or addtional single beds can be added to either of the spacious double bedrooms).
The layout is pretty much 'open-plan', very spacious, light and airy.

Kalkan is situated on Turkey's gorgeous Lycian Coast and was once a simple Turkish/Greek fishing village. Today's Kalkan is quietly sophisticated and postcard pretty with a few good quality low-rise hotels, a selection of privately owned holiday villas and a multitude of excellent roof-top restaurants offering all manner of culinary delights, together with a good selection of of stylish and atmospheric blues and jazz bars. The village shops stay open 'til around midnight and are well stocked with interesting antiques, crafts, jewellery, carpets and clothing. The narrow streets of the old town are lined with whitewashed shuttered buildings festooned with brightly coloured bougainvillea intermingled with shops and terrace-topped restaurants. These streets twist down to the harbour, which is the focus of the village and here you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the world go by or by looking at the array of elegant 'gulets'. During the day, you can make use of one of the many 'beach clubs' in the area, or spend some time on Kalkan's own pebbly beach, visit the local market, engage in some of the local sporting activities (such as water-skiing, parascending, scuba diving, trekking etc), take a trip to one of the historical sites, visit beautiful Patara Beach (an endless stretch of unspoilt sand approx 10 mins drive from Kalkan), drive a jeep up into the mountains, cruise on a gulet or simply relax by your pool. Unlike some other Turkish coastal resorts, Kalkan's main economy derives from tourism and consequently, its inhabitants put much effort and pride into the town's historic preservation. As a result of very strict building regulations and the efforts of the Kalkan Foundation, the town has retained its charm and special ambience. The wonderful hospitality of the Kalkan people is another reason why the first-time visitor invariably returns time after time.

Villa Dolluca - Oct 10 - 2011
This was our 2nd year at Villa Dolluca and we will be returning next year. A beautiful, spacious villa in an absolutely spectacular location. The views are second to none, allowing you to drink in the sights of what must surely be, the jewel in Turkeys crown, Kalkan. Debbie and the management team at abi Travel (in Kalkan) made this a totally stress free holiday for us, Debbie arranging for our hire car to be at Dalaaman for our arrival & any trips we wanted were easily booked through abi. Abi were always on hand with any assistance or advice needed. The villa met all our needs and we were very comfortable, enjoying the very pretty poolside terraces, (very private at the rear of the terrace)throughout the day and the nightcaps on the balcony overlooking beautiful twinkling Kalkan at night. The pool and terraces are well tended daily and the villa itself was cleaned midway through our stay. All in all,a wonderful holiday in a fab villa, to which we are very much looking forward to returning to next year.
Amazing views in peaceful surroundings
The villa was light & spacious with amazing views of Kalkan bay. The outside area was very private. This villa is suitable for a range of travellers from couples to families and is great value for money. Would definately recommend this villa to anyone travelling to Turkey.
A fantastic holiday - will definitely return
The view from the villa is breathtaking. The villa was spotless, pool cleaned everyday, maid came once during the week's holiday. Luxurious surroundings. Kalkan is one of the friendliest places we have ever been on holiday to. The people were very welcoming. So many excellent restaurants to choose from and with the current exchange rate - extremely good value for money. Wonderful days trips from the villa. We will be back.
A wonderful holiday in Villa Dolluca (July 2011)
At first I was just looking for some refreshing air, a pool and nice meals, and then ...
This was more than I was looking for.
We enjoyed every minute of our trip in the Kalkan and Villa Dolluca. We rented a car in Dalaman airport, nice ride to Villa (not so hard to find it in Earth google). Then rewards!
Nice people, calm atmosphere, blue sea, in total we had a wonderful holiday. Thank you Debbie for managing it.
Perfect Holiday! (June 2011)
Villa Dolluca was absolutely perfect - spacious, tasteful, clean, comfortable, amazing views and really well equipped! It has all of your home comforts with the added benefit of an amazing pool and poolside area.
It's a 25 minute walk in to the town and it's a fairly steep route but there are plenty of affordable taxis to catch for the way home. Kalkan itself has loads of fantastic roof-top restaurants all serving delicious food! In fact, we didn't have a bad meal.
It was a brilliant holiday allowing you to do as much or as little as you like. A week simply wasn't long enough!
The owners of the villa are really nice and helpful and they made the whole booking process extremely easy.
I couldn't recommend Villa Dolluca highly enough!
Would like to go back here! (June 2011)
Villa Dolluca, like the local wine of the same name,(obtainable in the supermarket in Kalkan), is delightful. We really enjoyed our stay in this very well-laid out, beautifully located villa.
Beautiful villa with private pool and great views
We had a lovely stay at Villa Dolluca. Very relaxing environment set above the town. October was a great time to visit Kalkan as temperatures were still high and the town was still busy but not too crowded.
Excellent Stay in Kalkan at Villa Dolluca
The villa, although slightly out of Kalkan, was perfectly placed for a relaxing holiday. It is beautifully presented and was spotlessly clean. The whole booking process was easily and efficiently carried out. Would certainly visit again and would thoroughly recommend. (Sept 2010)
A little piece of heaven
This holiday more than exceeded every single expectation we had. It is difficult to describe the beauty of the view from the terrace of the villa. The villa is exceptional - spotlessly clean and comfortable. Kalkan is quite magical. There are abundant restaurants - we ate out every night bar two and every single meal was superb. The waiters and shopkeepers were by far the friendliest, most helpful and welcoming people we have ever met in any country before. There are plenty of interesting little shops to nose around. There is a good choice of excursions to go on should you so wish. We took the advice of Linda in abi Tours to go on the sunken city day boat trip. I cannot say anything, apart from that it has to be experienced to believe how out of this world this trip was! Patara Beach was picture perfect and an absolute must to visit. Kalamar beach was also an excellent day out. You cannot get bored around Kalkan. If you want to sit back and relax you can do exactly that. If you enjoy getting out and about for the day then there is plenty to go and see and do. You can make the holiday whatever you want it to be. I could honestly go on forever about how perfect this holiday was, from the minute I made contact with Kalkan Villas to the day we left to come home. The arrangements ran like clockwork, the help given beforehand, during and after have been professional and first class. I have nothing negative whatsoever to say about our two weeks (apart from the leg room on the Thomas Cook flight!!) We have already rebooked for another two weeks next June. All we have to do now is shut up about our holiday and try to get back into work mode, which is proving very difficult! We can say, hand on heart, that this was a heavenly, relaxing holiday - encompassing absolutely everything we wanted, completely. Easily the best holiday we have ever experienced. (July 2010)
Relaxing and Memorable
The Villa was beautiful and the views are stunning. We went with children aged 10 and 2 and this surpassed my expectations and completely met our needs. The pool was splendid and cleaned everyday and we used the BBQ frequently. The owners have provided a comprehensive guide to where to find things in and around Kalkan including good places to eat. The villa is on a steep hillside overlooking Kalkan and we definately needed the car we had hired to get out and about with the children. Short drive to Kaputas and Patara beaches which are both lovely. Would love to return.
Stunning Villa (May 2010)
We chose the Villa Dolluca because our son had stayed there in 2009, and we were not disappointed with this choice. The villa was spacious and comfortable with lots of outdoor space and relaxing seating and eating areas where we spent most of our time. Our own pool was a very welcome luxury. The views were stunning and many hours were spent with a bottle of wine on the terrace watching the lights of the town sparkling like diamonds after the sun went down. The kitchen was very well appointed with a dishwasher making holiday catering much easier. The juicer was particularly well used with the abundance of cheap oranges available. Everything you could need was provided - microwave, washing machine, hairdryer, etc.
Kalkan itself is a charming town, quite steep and cobbled but easy to get around. We used the Yali supermarket for most everyday items, and there were two good butchers in town plus an excellent greengrocer. Not to be missed was the Kalkan Thursday market, especially the fruit and vegetables and cheeses. Also of special interest to me as I am very fond of cooking was the excellent choice of dried herbs and spices - a time to stock up.
A car is very useful especially as the villa is some half hour walk from the centre of town. Also this enables you to get to other places along the coast and inland, plus of course, the airport transfers.
The villa was clean and ready for us on arrival and serviced during our stay. The bin was emptied regularly and the pool and surrounding area cleaned and watered on a daily basis. The agents, ABI were very helpful and it was good to know they were there even if we did not need to call on them very much..
We are already planning our next visit and look forward very much to returning to Villa Dolluca and Turkey.
Super villa but get a car! (Oct 2009)
Loved this villa - very cosy , clean and comfortable.
Location offers superb views bit it's a tough walk into town and back so factor in taxi costs if you are not getting a car.
A perfect retreat to unwind (Sept 2009)
The 2 of us really enjoyed our stay at Villa Dolluca. It's extremely well appointed, 2 large lovely modern bedrooms with loads of cupboard space & dressing table in master bedroom with mirror & light above. Wraparound terraces outside and upstairs with the upstairs balcony perfect for gin and tonics watching the sun go down behind the hills. Fully equipped kitchen with everything you could want. Great location above the town but close enough to drive into Kalkan to eat at one of the many fantastic rooftop restaurants. Never walked into town as its very hilly & only 5 minutes by car with easy parking in the free Otopark. Would definitely return one day.
Villa Dolluca (Sept 2009)
Villa Dolluca is a very high quality villa exceptional furnishings throughout and excellant maintenance teams. Steps to the villa are not for the faint hearted they are quite steep but during our stay we all got used to them. Lovely views over the bay of Kalkan
We would highly recommend Villa Dolluca
Wonderful views and peace and quiet in Kalkan
My husband, our 2 teenage children and I stayed here for 2 weeks in July/August this year.
We would fully recommend this place to stay as it is a lovely villa all round - stunning unobscured views of surrounding hillsides, down to the harbour in Kalkan, excellent sized pool with plenty of loungers and various places to sit and eat outside, also well appointed inside - 2 bathrooms, lovely furniture and curtains, bedspreads etc.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed for full self - catering and even a welcome pack of food and drinks. Abi Travel were always available if we needed anything. A hire car was necessary, as the walk down and up to and from the town was too long especially in the heat of July, although taxis would be readily available. (Aug 2009)
Best sea view from garden (Aug 2009)
We are a Turkish family ,when I decided to write
my comments here,I asked my self that how can I
be objective to evaluate the Villa Dolluca..but the villa and the architecture and the decoration never let you be subjective..it has really very relaxing
atmosphere. Everything is quite clean in the
villa, kitchen is quite well equipped. If you have a car it is very easy to rich any where in the town..the
only suprising point is "Villa Dolluca Steps" which
is similar to spanish steps in Rome,Italy..but after
2 days you feel very fit yourself..:)).
Thanks again for giving us this opportunity ...I will
use my discount promotion next time..:)
Beautiful (July 2009)
Great Villa, beautiful views, great people, great food, wonderful countryside, 2 temperatures - Very Hot and Cooler in the evenings
Wonderful Week! (July 2009)
Beautiful, friendly town. The villa was wonderfully appointed with everything
needed to make a relaxed vacation. The views from the villa were beautiful.
We would highly recommend Villa Dolluca!
Villa Dolluca - home from home (June 2009)
This is the second year running that I've ventured to Villa Dolluca, having been so impressed the first time I went in May 2008. Kalkan is a lovely town with quaint cobbled paths with many shops and restaurants, but has an air of calmness about it.
The journey to Kalkan is straightforward, thanks to the new road that's been built and on arrival at Villa Dolluca, you're greeted with a welcome pack of
tea/ coffee, juice, milk, cheese, bread etc ... just enough to make yourself a cup of tea and a cheese toastie whilst you settle in.
The villa itself is set on the hill overlooking the town and marina and looks out to sea - such a great view and extremely peaceful as well. It's well
equipped and spacious inside and poolside with loungers, tables and a pool man who comes daily (who we never saw this year) The villa is comfortable,
has plenty of seating, is well set out and there's lots of english speaking tv channels as well as a dvd and cd player (should you not venture out).
Of course the weather is hot in May, so it's a great place to read and totally relax by the pool, but there's also a lot to see if you want to explore the
local area.
Villa Dolluca has now become a yearly holiday for me and hope to be heading back in 2010.
A Fantastic Villa in a Lovely Place (Jun 2009)
Villa Dolluca is the best villa we have ever stayed in. The situation is delightful with views down to the sea.The villa has an attractive layout and is well furnished. The pool is a good size in a pleasant situation with plenty of space to relax in and eat outside. The property is well looked after, and a car to and from the airport can be arranged and makes a relaxing start and finish to the holiday.
Fabulous villa in a wonderful place (June 2009)
I've just spent a fantastic week at Villa Dolluca with my husband and parents. The four of us loved the villa, with its panoramic views over the bay, stylish decor and great layout. There's space for everyone, somewhere to sunbathe at all times of the day, shade if you need it and a great balcony. It's lovely waking up and looking straight out over the bay to the sea. Everything you could need is there and the property is well maintained - air conditioning in all rooms, a well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds and spacious rooms, plenty of cupboard and drawer space. But these seem small things compared to the overall feeling of relaxation that comes from being in this truly special place. I've been to Kalkan before and adored it - and I think this is a great place to stay here. It's not right in the town so it feels quiet and private which I love, but is only a short drive down to the beach, shops and restaurants when you want them. Or you can walk to the little shop and pancake house down the road. I loved the fact that, although you're not far from everything, you didn't feel too surrounded by other tourists etc - and I liked looking over at the little Turkish houses to the left, with the goats wandering on the hillside.
I only wish I could've stayed longer - we're definitely going for two weeks next time! I plan to stay here again.
Beautiful Villa
Villa Dolluca was beautiful, absolutely spotless everything was perfect. My husband and I were celebrating our 20th wedding anniversay and could not of picked a better place if we tried. I would recommend Villa Dolluca and Kalkan to anyone. The views from the villa are amazing, and the locals were very friendly. Would love to return in the future.
Stylish Villa (May 2009)
My family spent a wonderful week in this beautiful, stylish villa. The villa exceeded our expectations and provided us with stunning views, comfort, spacious and effortless living.
The villa is well equipped and despite never having been to Turkey before we managed to barbecue in the beautiful outdoor area by the pool and were seduced by the velvety evenings with the call to prayer echoing across the town. We thoroughly recommend the Villa and the beautiful town of Kalkan.
Spacious, clean, wonderful pool (May 2009)
My partner, myself and two teenage children spent a glorious week in this property. Having the facility to come and go as we please, eat in or out was fantastic. The villa is positioned within easy walking distance of the town and is in a quiet location. The views fom the villa are fantastic, especially that from the main bedroom which is virtually a glass wall. Watching the sun set late at night whilst dipping toes in the pool - heaven!
The pool was fantastic and cleaned every day.
Starting a new day with a dip was great.
The villa itself was clean, spacious and comfortable.
We had a fantastic week and wished we had booked it for longer! Highly recommended.
Amazing View! (May 2009)
Villa Dolluca and Kalkan were even more beautiful than the pictures on the website. One of my fondest memories of our Kalkan trip is the view from the patio both day and night. The villa was very private, safe and clean. The owner was also very helpful and prompt with any email questions I had. My husband and I hope to come back someday.
Fantastic property - beautiful area
We have been very fortunate to stay at Villa Dolluca twice (2007 and 2009) and can highly recommend this property and its location to anyone seeking comfortable accomodation, with truely breathtaking views in an unspoilt area of Turkey.
With everything required to make a home from home, Villa Dolluca is ideal for those looking for peace and quite during the day, with easy access to Kalkan, what can only be described as the "foodie capital" of Turkey, during the evenings.
The management team are also excellent, with every requirement taken care of throughout your stay.
