The house is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxing holiday with friends or family, in an interesting and unspoilt area. It is within easy reach of the coast, and a number of lovely towns and villages, including the Unesco World Heritage site of Alberrobello. It has stone walls and floors, and a number of beautiful vaulted ceilings. It is comfortably furnished, and is decorated with ethnic art and artefacts from around the world, and there are Moroccan rugs on the floors. On the ground floor there is a large L shaped living room, with an open fire, 2 seating areas, with sofas, table and chairs,TV and DVD player . There is a large, well equipped kitchen, and a dining room with a table that seats 10 people. There are 2 double ensuite bedrooms on the ground floor, and one has disabled access, and disabled shower and wc. The first floor can be accessed by an internal staircase, or the original external staircase which leads onto an upper terrace with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. There is a master ensuite bedroom with four poster bed, a twin bedroom and a single bedroom on the first floor. Outside there is a large swimming pool, a terrace with dining table and chairs, gardens and an olive grove. There is secure parking for several cars.

Puglia is an unspoilt rural area, well known for its agriculture and its cuisine . It has a fascinating history, having been colonised by various different occupiers, including the Greeks and Romans, and there are many archaeological sites that still remain. It has a lovely coastline, with numerous beaches, and has a good climate, with around 300 hours of sunshine each year.

Masseria Casalicchio is situated near the market town of Castellana Grotte, which has a picturesque old town, several excellent restaurants, and the world famous caves, arguably the most beautiful in Europe.

It is within easy reach of many lovely towns and villages, including, Conversano, Locorotondo, Martina Franca and Alberobello. The coast is approximately 18 kilometres away, with some lovely beaches and coastal towns, including Polignano al Mare.

The swimming pool is usually open between mid May and the end of September.

Mid stay cleaning can be arranged, but will incur an additional cost.

Rentals run from Saturday to Saturday, but we can be flexible over changeover days and length of stay in the winter months, and can also arrange long term winter rentals for a lower rent .

A deposit of 30% is required to secure a booking.

A refundable breakages deposit of E300 is required on arrival, to be refunded within two weeks of your departure (subject to satisfactory property inspection).

A security deposit of £300 is taken to cover any unforeseen damage or additional costs.

Unforeseen costs could be extra cleaning or laundry costs if the house or linen is not left in a reasonable condition and extra costs are incurred as a result.

Linen, towels and beach towels are included

Winter bookings. From the 1st October and until the 30th April there will be a surcharge for heating costs which will be discussed at the time of booking.

A mid stay clean or laundry wash can be arranged but will incur an additional cost

We rent from Saturday to Saturday but we are happy to be flexible over changeover days and length of stays during the winter.

The house is also available for longer term rentals between October and March, for a reduced rent

The pool is usually open from the middle of May until the end of September
