Welcome to Stoney Cottage which is a traditional 100 year old croft house that has been tastefully modernised, offering comfortable accommodation to make your stay special. The cottage is surrounded by rolling hills and tranquil countryside where you can expect to see cattle, sheep, birds plus a good variety of wild flora.
This comfortable, cosy, well-equipped and historic cottage makes a wonderful base for accessing the many delights that the Isle of Skye has to offer. With so many things to see and do Skye is a fabulous place for an island holiday, amid superb scenery that changes with the weather, from rolling hills and moorland to rocky sea-shores and pristine sandy beaches. Come and stay at Stoney Cottage, and have an unforgettable holiday!
The cottage is a welcome retreat to come home to after a days walking the hills, to relax by the cosy coal fire, along with books, maps, walking guides, DVDs and a TV are provided to while away those wet misty days on Skye! The outside patio areas will catch both the morning and evening sun – the island is not always misty, as our photographs show!
Starter pack of coal and kindlers, electricity, linen and towels are inclusive. There is off-road parking and a half acre garden to relax in. There is a little nursery with a cot making it a very versatile property for a family with a young baby.
