We could not believe the property, it was beutifull the owner Frank was a pleasure to deal with, and makes you feel like your at home the apartment is very luxurious with beutifull fittings, free computer free wifi satellite tv and all you would expect from i would class as a 5 star + holiday home, the sea views are to die for, the restaurants the fresh food, the pizzas the people of Gozo a lifetime experience, on your door step all the amenities supermarket, bars, shops,boat cruises, sit on the rooftop and watch the world go by, cant wait to get back next year

One wonderful week of vacation on the beautiful island of Gozo has just past by: A combination of luxury living, experiencing of Malta's, Gozo's and Comino's dramatic history, taking professional English lessons (thanks to Julie of IELS)...
After a perfect organized arrival and transfer from Malta Aiport to the island of GOZO, we have met an outrageous friendly landlord Frank welcoming us with a delicious spread and Gozo wine on the lovely roof terrace with an extraordinary seaview. Frank is more than concerned about giving advice to daily life issues as well as offering a helping hand organizing trips and getting to know his beautiful home island. The daily service by inhabitants with food, beverages, bread or anything you might need makes living here really convenient.The appartment is fully equipped.

Effective & easy communication with the owner during your holiday
· Owner’s friendliness & availability - exceptionally helpful even giving us his mob. no.
· Holiday home cleanliness - could not fault it.
· Holiday home organization - very near to owner's own home and he was attentive and organised.
· Luxury & services provided: satellite TV, dishwasher, computer PC with internet, WI-FI access, washing machine, tumble dryer, BBQ, fireplace, etc...
· Solid furniture (oak, pine and red wood) and utilities quality & standards
· Coziness & style of holiday home - homely and colourful.
· Welcome Food Pack & Welcome meeting- treated like personal guests on arrival, picked up from airport all arranged.
· Seaviews & countryviews from balcony, terraces & roof garden
· FREE computer PC with internet
· FREE Wi-Fi
· Information packs available: information about the house, places of interest, sightseeing, maps, brochures & restaurant guide... Would advise arranging a jeep to hire to ensure not getting stranded in a hot deserted part of the countryside - buses not that reliable. Taxis are, but fiddly to keep booking them.
· Mediterranea as an ideal location to discover Gozo between 3 villages & near Mgarr - location is near to ferry port, but nowhere on Gozo is built up - there is a small rocky beach just past the ferry terminal car park which is within walking distance of flats - best beach is on north coast which you will need motorised transport for.
· Amenities close by – supermarket, restaurants, bars, shops, boat cruises, ferries, seaplane, etc... Frank knows restaurant owners and they will do you a good deal and treat you to personal service.
· Any FREE excursions/guiding provided by the owner himself
· Knowledge level of the owner about the history, culture & traditions of the island of Gozo - you almost need to fight him off! We did not succumb to the tour of the tomato factory though.
· Things you enjoyed most at Mediterranea Seaviews - boat rides around the island, delicious fresh fruit and cheeses, being taken by Frank & his wife to the "Feasts" which are village festivals held throughout the summer nights with pizzas and fireworks. Visiting the local baker at work.
· Overall impression - A laid back and warm place in more ways than one. Silvery blue mediterranean water and Enya music playing.
· Would you recommend this holiday home to family and friends? Yes without a doubt. Not too touristy. Just one small nightclub if you have young people with you. Frank's wife, Jane does manicures and other beauty treatments. It is easy to get to Malta to see art galleries etc. Everyone speaks English and loves the English. Everyone is quite short! Except Frank who is tall.

Fell in love with Gozo
Stayed during half term and apartment was fantastically equipped, clean and exactly as descibed. We didn't need to worry if it turned cold as catered for this too. Views fantastic.

Frank was a superb host - with welcoming Gozitan spread - (we tried to recreate it at home but wasn't half as good), an enormous wealth of local knowledge and quick to sort any queries. The car hire and transfer to Malta that Frank booked for us was perfect.

We came with 2 children and loved:
Ramla, Azure Window, Inland Sea, Dwerja Tower, Ta Kola Windmill, Qbaijar Salt Pans, Xlendi

Places to eat:
St Lawrenz (a treat), Nadur (fantastic pizzas)
Bellusa was where we relaxed in Victoria every day for drinks (including Kini) and pastizzis and very friendly owners.

Would definetly recommend to friends.

Lovely break in Gozo
Had a wonderful stay and found our host Frank so helpful. He made us feel at home straightaway. The place was cosy, well equipped and spotlessly clean. We came as a large family and we all really enjoyed our stay with plenty of good sights nearby to keep everyone happy.

Amazing seaviews and service
Vic and I have had a lovely holiday at Romantic Seaviews. The apartment has amazing views and it is wonderful to be able to enjoy the roof terrace with such lovely views. Your assistance prior to our arrival and once we got to Gozo was incredible - thank you for all your help.

Superb stay and great hospitality
This is our first visit to Gozo and has been especially relaxing. Thanks Frank for your unique way of making us welcome. The apartment is superb and we're able to isolate ourselves when we felt the need, on the roof terrace with its amazing views over to Malta.

Our home away from home
Thank you so much for your hospitality. Your spotless Romantic Sea views penthouse apartment has got everything like home from home. As you see, we are long time visitors to Gozo. The *** (a 5 Star hotel in Gozo) has nothing to offer in comparison with Romantic Sea views.

Great view
Gozo is "like Malta but slower paced" - beautiful tiny beaches, temples, and a couple of very characterful small towns- great if you like to take it easy on holiday (as we do)!

This house has a terrace with a fantastic view across Comino to Malta, and that's the main attraction; you can sit for hours with a ftira and a bottle of wine, watching the boats. The house is, like many holiday rentals, slightly idiosyncratic but quite well equipped, with own parking space right outside. Owner very enthusiastic and friendly. Some great local restaurants within a couple of minutes drive (especially D Bar in Qala).

La casa è situata nei pressi del porto a cui si arriva da Malta, ben arredata e pulita, è suddivisa su più piani, assicurando in tal modo grande privacy a chi vi dimora. Accessoriata di tutto quanto può servire, non occorre riempire la valigia di cose inutili... Nelle vicinanze poi ci sono i ristoranti migliori dell'isola, e da qui si possono raggioungere le mete più ambite! Poi si può sempre contare sull'aiuto di Frank!

"Lovely Gozo Villa - Mediterranea"
Date of stay: July 2011. This is a lovely spacious and well equipped villa in which we had originally booked 7 people, but ended up going with 5 people only (3 adults, 2 kids). About 10 minutes up the hill from the ferry terminal with lovely views all round. Over three floors, entry on the ground floor with main accommodation over 1st and 2nd floors. Double room and twin room on the first floor, each with plenty of storage space, together with lounge area, dining kitchen and bathroom with shower over. Each bedroom at the back of the house opens onto a small balcony where clothes lines are rigged - ideal for drying out swimming gear and towels! At the front another small balcony - leave the french doors open to hear the whistle or the hoot of the travelling grocers, bakers or fish seller and call out so they don't drive off too soon! The best floor is definitely the top floor. A double room and a separate small lounge area (which would also be the bedroom for the 7th person) with shower and bath off it. The remainder of the floor space is in two large open air balconies, one at the front and one at the back of the house (plus from the front there is a small staircase onto the roof where there is a further sunlounger area. There are dining tables and chairs on each plus a barbecue which can be wheeled between balconies through the living area. Lovely views all round.
Frank, the Owner, meanwhile is permanently anxious to ensure you are happy and comfortable and that you have plenty to do, know where to go for whatever you need. We had a fantastic time, both at the villa and in Gozo in general - though the weather was very hot and relatively humid the sea is refreshingly cool and we found a couple of magic beaches where two energetic and adventurous boys could spend hours burning off energy diving and jumping into the water and clambering back out of the water to do it all over again (along with a Dad and a Grandpa who really should have known better!). Granna meanwhile spent a lot of her time snorkelling.
Two great places to eat nearby are Tmunn Mjarr and Porto Vecchio restaurant - we were too lazy to walk but it can easily be done.
Though there are little stores in the village we tended to do our main food shop at The Duke shopping mall in Victoria which included a supermarket, though be prepared to spend some time looking for parking spaces!
We heartily recommend the Villa (Mediterranea), the island of Gozo and our host Frank for a fantastic and relaxing holiday vacation.

Relax e Mare

Un pò scettica ho accettato la proposta di amici di soggiornare una settimana all'isola di Gozo, malta; sin dal traghetto mentre guardavo il m are sotto di noi e l'isola in lontananza capivo che il mio scetticismo era svanito per lasciare posto a tanto stupore per le bellezze che vedevo!!!! un posto incantevole, un mare da favola ( e vi assicuro che ho girato moltissimo, ho fatto quasi tutte le isole caraibiche) e al nostro arrivo la ciliegina sulla torta è stato Frank, il proprietario della casa che avevamo affittato!!! Ci ha riservato un'accoglienza fantastica, lui e sua mamma sono due persone divine, ci hanno viziato e coccolato per tutta la settimana...disponibilità totale, 24 ore su 24.....ma davvero su 24!!! La casa poi.......che ve lo dico a fare, grandissima, con una super terrazza dove guardavamo le stelle comodamente sdraiati su dei lettini morbidissimi!!! sinceramente le foto non rendono giustizia alla bellezza della casa e alla sua posizione strategica. arrivavamo a piedi ovunque o quasi e comunque c'è un servizio autobus iperattivo!!!! Io ci sono stata con una coppia di amici, i miei bimbi di 9 e 2 anni ed un'altra coppia di amici con una bimba piccola....perfetta per tutti...!!! se poi avete voglia di discoteche e non vi bastano quelle che trovate in spiaggia ci sono traghetti ogni 30 minuti che in 15 minuti vi portano alla
valletta!!!! Ci tornerò sicuramente e soprattutto tornerò da Frank e sua mamma!!!!!! Grazie di cuore per tutto. Cathy, Massimo ed i bambini.

A Superb Villa with Panoramic Views

A very well presented, equipped and clean apartment with everything you could possibly need for a great holiday including panoramic views. Every detail has been thought about by the owner and the best review I can give is that I will be coming back and also recommending it to my friends and family.

Excellent Holiday
Date of stay: August 2011. This was our first holiday abroad for many years and we were a little nervous. Would we be collected at the airport on time? Would the accommodation be all we were expecting? Would the photos reflect the accommodation? Would it be clean? Etc? No need to worry from the minute we landed everything was perfect, in fact, it was better than we had expected.
Frank introduced us to the accommodation and at the same time gave us information about the island and what to do if we wanted any excursions, visits, places to eat, in fact anything else he could think of.
Frank did arrange visits for us and his arrangements could not be faulted in any way. The information he provided was accurate and all payments had been made exactly as planned.
We went out several times with Frank and this introduced us further into life on the island.
We hired a vehicle for most of the holiday which gave us access to the entire island. (I believe the bus service is good and reasonably priced but I think it may take a bit of getting used to). Having a car did allow us to access some areas we may not have visited from the bus, and don't worry if you take a wrong turn at any time treat it as an adventure, you won't regret it, just remember to turn around when you get to water, but get out and have a look around before you do.
After days and evenings out it was a delight to come back to accommodation this comfortable with the magnificent the views from the villa (Day and Night) it just makes you want to relax, I even found myself waking up at dawn still outside on more than one occasion.
Don't worry that you can see the ferry from the accommodation, this just adds to the ambience.
We left not knowing Frank as "the owner” but knowing him as a friend.
Would we recommend this accommodation? Definitely and we have already done so.

A holiday to remember
Date of stay: September 2011. We spent two weeks in Gozo at Mediterranea Seaview. The property had everything we needed, very spacious and clean. The view from the front terrace was wonderful, in fact we spent most evenings enjoying a drink whilst watching the ferry and boats between Malta, Comino and Gozo. We hired a car for 2 weeks which suited our needs however if you didn't want to do that the bus service is ideal to get around. We had only had a meal out once, the rest of the time we used the BBQ. Frank made us feel very welcome and provided us with everything we needed including lots of information about places to visit, in fact he couldn't do enough for us. This was the first time we had been to Malta/Gozo and we will most certainly be returning.

Lovely holiday in Malta/Gozo
I visited Gozo/Malta for a week in september. We had a perfect holiday in all aspects, accomodation, weather, things to see and most of all our excellent houseowner. I have never met a more serviceminded and helpful person. I don´t think you can find a thing he wouldn´t do to make your holiday a great one.
The house was very clean, well maintained and had all the needed equippment for a relaxing stay. Spacious livingareas and comfortable bedrooms and bathrooms. The terraces, one with seaview, where very nice as well as the toproof sunbathing terrace (Great views!)
As we arrived I loved the lunch which was waiting for us! Just what we needed after the flight and bus/boatjourney.The foodpack really made me feel that I could relax and focus on enjoying the house and the surrondings instead of running for a supermarket first thing.
With Frank explaining and recommending all different sort of things to see and do there was no problem in finding things to do. We were thinking of renting a car but that wasn´t nessecary and we travelled by bus the whole week. Cheap and easy!
If you stay on Gozo you definitely have to see Dwejra point and the azure window wich was amazing in the windy weather. You also have to take a daytrip to Comino - bring your snorkelling gear! The salty crystalclear water makes swimming a cheer joy!!!
Other places to go is Victoria and the citadel and of course the Megalithic temples of Ggantjia.
The nearest sandy beach is Ramla beach and you reach it by bus (stopping outside the housedoor) in 10 min.
Finding places to eat out on Gozo is no problem but it is just as nice to make it yourself at the house enjoying it on one of the lovely house terraces watching the sunset. Food shopping is just down the street and if you want more shopping you just take the bus to Victoria.
All in all this is a place I highly recommend to everybody who want a relaxing holiday specially if you want to stay away from the tourist crowds.

Vacanza autunnale a Gozo
Gozo è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Un mare stupendo, un clima mite e un'ospitalità perfetta ne fanno una meta ideale anche nei mesi autunnali. Per quel che riguarda l'alloggio, si è dimostrato una scelta validissima per noi, due coppie di amici che volevano passare una settimana di vacanza insieme ma nel rispetto della privacy, garantitaci dalla disposizione delle camere e dei bagni su due piani diversi, dalla presenza di 2 terrazzi e di un solarium, che non ci obbligava in alcun modo a condividere gli spazi. Molto curato l'arredamento e la dotazione della proprietà: non mancava veramente nulla! Dal forno a microonde all'asciugatrice, dalla piastra per lisciare i capelli al mini impianto stereo nel bagno! Addirittura i teli di spugna da stendere sui lettini e due biciclette per esplorare l'isola!
Pensavamo di noleggiare un'auto, ma, così come consigliato dal proprietario, abbiamo deciso di valerci dell'ottimo servizio di autobus, che raggiunge tutti i siti più belli dell'isola e che ferma proprio a pochi metri da casa.
La disponibilità di Frank, il proprietario, è stata altissima: ci ha dedicato parecchio tempo per illustrarci le mille attrazioni di Gozo, lasciandoci tutto il materiale che di solito si trova solo nelle agenzie turistiche, compresi i menu dei ristoranti presenti nelle vicinanze. Ci ha messo in contatto col diving center più vicino e ci ha prenotato addirittura i biglietti per l'opera!
Conto di tornare a Gozo nel periodo estivo, per poter apprezzare ancora meglio la bellezza delle spiagge e la meraviglia del mare.

Un soggiorno bellissimo al Mediterranea Gozo

La vacanza a Gozo è stata piacevolissima. Appena giunti sull’isola, siamo rimasti affascinati dalla bellezza del paesaggio e dalla calda accoglienza. Infatti il proprietario della casa in cui soggiornavamo si è dimostrato una persona gentilissima in quanto giorno per giorno ci indicava il modo migliore per visitare l’isola ed apprezzarne così sia le bellezze naturali che storiche. L’appartamento in cui soggiornavano era molto confortevole, offriva una meravigliosa vista panoramica ed il servizio offertoci è stato impeccabile!! Consiglierei a tutti coloro che amano vedere e scoprire luoghi ancora incontaminati, un soggiorno su quest’isola!

The perfect getaway in November!
Date of stay: 19 November 2011. We felt very welcomed at Mediterranea Seaviews Gozo. The house was much more spacious than we expected and we were very pleased with the balconies on both sides of the house. It was set up for cooking by the visitors in a much more complete way than we have ever experienced (milk, coffee, tea, salt, pepper, other spices, high quality pots and pans, cutlery, etc.) We would recommend the place with no reservations. Frank, the owner, bent over backwards to help out in every way even by getting his mother to teach us how to make one of the Maltese national dishes, which we enjoyed so much after the cooking lesson with them. One last thing... The Maltese themselves were without exception helpful and friendly. Everything at Mediterranea, in Malta and on Gozo was clean, safe and interesting.

It was great!
Date of stay: November 2011. We thank you very much for this wonderful accommodation with the beautiful seaviews and countryviews! We spent a very happy time in Gozo. All our three little children were very happy. The oldest daughter was very happy about the swing in the roof terrace. She actually wanted to swing every morning after waking up! Our son loved the great views to the street and to all the cars from above! Our youngest daughter enjoyed the sunshine and did not matter about the rain, while this time she was sleeping. My wife and I also enjoyed the sun, the beautiful seaviews from the terraces, the green island of Gozo and after each lucky day, we took a glass of Maltese wine - or two in your lovely villa! So we are all very relaxed and highly satisfied and we are looking back to return to experience wonderful days again in Gozo. Your villa is in a very handy location and we travelled everywhere by bus because two bus stops are just few metres away so we just walked for a few minutes. Our children also enjoyed themselves playing in the children's park nearby. Besides, the shops and restaurants are all nearby too so we just walked. We also liked buying the fresh bread in the morning and fresh fruits and vegetables from the vans in the morning from in front our accommodation. Very good! Thank you very much for everything - the great accommodation, your excellent services and your fantastic hospitality at Mediterranea Gozo which is super.
