The 270mos Self Catering Apartment is located in a quiet neighbourhood in Mosfellsbaer, a little town in Reykjavík capital area, only a fifteen kilometer minutes drive to midtown and only 2 minutes drive from the Ring Road. The surroundings are beautiful and nature all around, mountains, ocean, horses and bird watching.

In Mosfellsbaer there live about eight thousand five hundred people so all necessary service is in short distance like two low-price supermarkets, banks, post-office, restaurants (pizza, Thai, KFC), patrol stations, pharmacy and library, to name a few. In this area are two thermal heated swimming pools, two golf courses, health centre, stables and a horse rental and the museum of our Nobel Prize winner in literature, Halldór Laxness. Drive Route 41 to Reykjavik and then take Route 1 to the west to Mosfellsbaer. Turn to the left on the fourth roundabout and turn again to left on the second street. By bus: Take the Flybus from Keflavik Airport to BSÍ located in the city centre of Reykjavik. From there take bus nr. 15 to Mosfellsbaer and go out at Brekkutangi. When stepping out, turn to the left and take several steps and turn to right and walk about 30 meters to the house. Ski: Skálafell is the name of the nearest ski-area. About 30 min. drive is to the mountain that has several lifts and one chair lift. Bláfjöll is another ski-area in about 1 hour drive, larger ski-area with lots of ski lifts. Golf: There is one 14 hole golf course about 1 km away from our property Golf Club: Golfklúbburinn Kjölur. Located near the sea in beautiful surroundings. Another 9 hole golf course is in the Valley of Mosfellsdalur, about 10 min. drive from our property, Golf Club: Bakkakotsvöllur, also in a very beautiful surroundings.
