Set in 25 acres of chestnut and olive trees, the property is 640 metres above sea-level where there is always a pleasant breeze during summer and is in harmony with the beautiful countryside that surrounds it. High cealilnged rooms, spacious and airy. Beautiful gardens boasting the only croquet lawn in Andalucia!! Steps lead down to the beautiful large swimming pool. The sound of goats and sheep bells can be heard all in total harmony with nature. The perfect place to escape to - perfect for all ages/all occasions!!
Walking - all the white-washed villages in the Sierra de Aracena are linked by cobbled tracks called 'camino reales', ideal for serious walkers and ramblers. Fiestas and Ferias - seem to be never -ending in the local villages - romerias in June, bullfights throughout summer, and the three-day non-stop Aracena Feria at the end of August. There are also two very good nightclubs Bars and Restaurants - in abundance, all very reasonable priced that serve the famous Serrano ham in mouth-melting variations. Sport - tennis court available free but needs to be booked at local sports centre. For fun golf, there is a 9-hole course 25 mins away at Rio Tinto. Otherwise, there are a plethora of championship courses in Sevilla and Huelva.

NOTE: Rental will be Saturday - Saturday, arrival at 5pm and departure by 10.30am. Pilar will come in mid-week in the early evening to do bathrooms and sweep through. Miguel, the builder, remains the custodian of the house and will come at weekends to check the pool. Neither speak English but are family friends. Maria speaks EX English and will meet and greet and will be on hand if help required.
