The holiday house has a basement which includes a large (80 sqm) open plan room, with cinema and ample sized bedroom. The 42” wall-mounted plasma screen comes with free satellite TV, Spanish terrestrial dynamical time (TDT), DVD, and Wii. Office desk and wireless internet are also available. On the ground floor, you will see an indoor/outdoor living with French windows leading onto large raised decking which provides spectacular natural beach and sea views. New fully equipped modern kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, oven, and all modern appliances. The separate utility room is provided with washing machine and tumble dryer. On the 1st floor, there is an en suite master bedroom which benefits from a dressing room with extensive cupboards and large walk in shower. There is a 2nd equally large bedroom with separate bathroom and unforgettable views.

The recently refurbished house is in front line beach, on a stretch of uninterrupted golden Blue Flag beaches on the Spanish Algarve, 30 minutes drive from the Portuguese border and the Portuguese Algarve. It is also one hour by motorway to Seville, Cadiz, and Jerez, three of Spain's most atmospheric and vibrant cities. The beach is protected by sand dunes, 'La Flecha' as locally known. A 300 metre-wide sheltered stretch of seawater, provides a haven for fishing and water sports. A local ferry across the land spit allows one to wander along deserted 4km long golden beach and appreciate the natural, unspoiled beauty. El Rompido is a small fishing village with many restaurants and there are 4 golf courses within a 15 minute drive. The area also features a host of nature with stunning local scenery. Acres of pine woodland is next to the Donana National Park which is one of the last great wildernesses of Europe and home to flamingos and the rare Iberian Lynx. Nearby are the beautiful Andalucian mountains.

El Rompido is part of the municipality of Cartaya. It is a fishing village surrounded by luxury developments, thanks to its year round agreeable climate. It has a marina where sea lovers moor their boats. For those families with children, we also recommend the water park found near Cartaya, only 4km from our home. There is also a go carting track next door. In Cartaya, there are large hypermarkets to do weekly shops (otherwise in the village and at the end of the road a smaller local supermarkets). The house is in a private community where house comes with air conditioning (hot/cold) and central heating and fans. From outdoor games to DVDs, the fully finished home will be a lovely environment to enjoy your holidays from.

This was the owner's home for 7 years so, as a result, the house is extremely well furnished and fitted out with everything you will need on your holiday. We also know the area exceedingly well and if you contact the owner, she will be able to help arrange your holiday and give you advice about the best restaurants, places to visit, and can even help arrange babysitting and someone to come around and cook you the best paella you have ever had! Should you require daily cleaning, this can also be organised and welcome hampers should you arrive late at night. As it is still very much our home, we do require the people who stay there to take care of the property. The house is maintained and kept as we like our home to be and we have someone who comes around every week to clean the pool and manage the gardens and tend the property. 25% deposit is required by bank transfer (or cash) to secure booking. This to be received within 5 days of placing reservation.
The remaining 75% balance is to be received no later than 6 weeks before the holiday start date, or we reserve the right to re-advertise for this period.
Regrettably, the 25% deposit is non-refundable. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance with cancellation cover.
The number of nights of your reservation cannot be reduced, but additional nights may be possible.

* A €250 fully refundable deposit is collected for security upon arrival. This can be returned in £ sterling, if preferred.
