There is also an abundance of bird life in the hills behind the house. Vineyards abound with world beating Hamilton Russell, Bouchard Findlayson and Newton Johnson vineyards 10 minutes away. I walked into Heaven
Truely amazing house which is in a perfect location to travel around South Africa. Every room is like being in a 5* hotel. Wonderful beds and the biggest showers and baths you could wish for. Each room is spaceous and well thought out. The house has a family feel to it, it would be suitable of the two of you or ten of you. Two huge living rooms where you can relax in. One the Children and one for the Adults. These rooms would be amazing in both winter and the summer. The kitchen has everything and more than you need to entertain the family. Fab pots, pans knifes and every salad bowl you can image. Home from home. Washing machine simply the best. The house has sea views and is a stone throw away from the beach. The beaches are to die for, long walks on hard flat sand ideal for working off the wine. Or surfing for the kids. Above the beach are great paths to walk along and admire the views. Hermanus town has lots of places to eat and drink as well as good places to do your weekly shop. A great market to buy salad bowls from!! Back to the house, I had an amazing time there with my dear friends, we had bbqs most nights as the weather was a dream, we sat next to an open fire and talked till early hours of the night looking at the night sky. The pool was just the right size to cool off in, we had shade to protect us too. It was quite and very safe both day and night. While laying by the pool you have the lovely moutains to look at. I even set the pool table up for a game but we never got round to it, far too busy talking and relaxing. My only fault about this home is I wish it was mine. You just have to go there to believe what I am saying. Oh Breakfast at Table Moutain was pretty special too. Enjoy this warm amazing house!!!!!

Absolutely Wonderful Find
We have used the house on several occassions and have been delighted everytime. The house is spacious, comfortable and beautifully appointed - no blunt knives, tatty kitchen utensils and all those other irritating things you often find in holiday homes. Oh yes and the beds are divine with crispy white linen! You feel as though you are at home! (Better actually!)It is right near the beach and fantastic cliff walks but close enough to town to get the odd essentials. You go to sleep at night hearing the sea and wake up looking at it! We saw dolphins and whales last weekend. This house is one of the finest we have stayed in - we highly recommend it. I think it is going to get lots of bookings because once you have stayed there you'll definitely want to go back!!

Heavenly Abode
We had a fabulous holiday here in March. The house is truly stunning and in a fabulous location -words can do it no justice at all! It is wonderfully spacious, beautifully appointed with a light and airy feel.Downstairs the living area is large and relaxing with immaculate rooms maintaining an informal feel with comfortable sofas and large bean bags to relax in.The kitchen is first rate- well stocked, with everything we needed and more, totally spotless and left me feeling I must get a re- fit at home! Upstairs the 5* theme continues with luxurious bedrooms all with en suite bathrooms overlooking the pool area but also with stunning views beyond. The beds were a dream with crisp linen and terribly comfortable! The pool area was a massive hit, plenty of room for relaxing and catching the sun by day and a great place to BBQ and sit by night to chat about our wonderful days! The beach is a stones throw away, lovely and sandy with large expanses of sand to loose yourself on. There are some lovely cliff paths for the more energetic to admire the eye catching views. Amenities are very close by with shops, bars and restaurants all within a very handy distance. There is much to do on the door step with something for everyone. We enjoyed a day in Cape Town and some nearby by wine tasting as well as a trip to Stellenbosch and it is in a perfect location for whale watching. All in all a first rate holiday home which we could not fault in any shape or form and we are already planning a return trip! Prepare to fall in love and look nowhere else for your dream South African holiday!

Fabulous place to take your friends or family
We had a lovely stay in this fantastic holiday home which easily catered for our extended family! Went for walks on Grotto beach every day, and when we wanted to relax there was nothing better than having a braai (BBQ) next to the pool! Hermanus is a fantastic location, and for a sports nut like me there are numerous outdoor activities on offer such as cycling, golf, fishing and kayaking. I look forward to coming back when it's whale season as I know Hermanus offers some of the best whale-watching in the world! I'd recommend this holiday home to everyone. One of the best holidays I've every had. Thank you!
