Description

The house sleeps 10, is luxuriously appointed with ensuite bathrooms, and has spacious indoor and outdoor living areas, equally comfortable in summer or winter with underfloor heating and open fires in 5 rooms. This beautiful property offers peace, quiet, space and comfort. No traffic sound, only the sea, birds and animals.Yet the luxurious Pezula Resort Hotel and Spa, the championship Pezula Golf Course, the beach and the vibrant town of Knysna, with fine dining, shopping and numerous activities, in the heart of the Garden Route, are minutes drive away. George airport is reached in 45 minutes by car, and Pezula Air has a helicopter service, by separate negotiation, to the property. This property offers total, unobtrusive security, within a gated, fenced and patrolled estate.

Knysna is an area of outstanding natural beauty, built on the banks of an 11km tidal lagoon with the Outeniqua mountains visible in the background, close to some of the Southern Cape's finest beaches and offering watersports, walking, fishing, cycling, horse riding and golfing amongst other activities. The town also offers the Quays waterfront development and marina, an excellent range of shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants. There are numerous golf courses nearby - Simola, Fancourt, Pinnacle Point and Goose Valley at Plettenberg Bay amongst others. Attractions nearby include Monkeyland, Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve, Knysna Elephant Park, Storms River Mouth, Tsitsikamma Forest and Nature's Valley. Shamwari Game Reserve, Addo Elephant Park, and the ostrich farms of Oudtshoorn are a 2-3 hour drive away. Pezula itself, offers spectacular views of the sea, lagoon and indigenous countryside. Port Elizabeth is a 3 hour drive away, and Cape Town is 5 hours away by car.

NOTE: Rates include a daily maid service, if required, up to 5 days a week excluding weekends and holidays, and a conciege service, when required, for house maintenance. 50% the rates for the period booked are payable, in British pounds to a London account, at the time of booking and are non-refundable. This secures the booking. The full payment is payable 30 days prior to the start of the tenancy and is non-refundable.
A 20% returnable deposit, should be paid at the time full payment is made, and this will be returned within 14 days of the end of the tenancy, after the conciege has made his inspection of the property.
Electricity and water are included in the rates, but the costs of the telephone usage will be taken from the deposit. The telephone can only be used for local calls, the tenants own cellular phones should be relied upon for international calls.
No smoking in the house please, and no pets are allowed.

Bedroom 2 suite has a dressing room and luxurious bathroom - 2 wash basins, bath and shower. Bedroom 3 has ample cupboard space with luxurious bathroom, bath and shower, 2 wash basins and large private balcony overlooking the sea. Bedroom 4 faces inland, has an open fire-place, private balcony and double shower in the luxury bathroom. Bedroom 5 is a self-contained unit, with private deck, small kitchen and bathroom and private entrance. Outdoor cushions are provided for all built in benches on the decks.
