Taliesin villa, a property that sleeps twelve adults is designed in luxury with decks for relaxation and stunning views. It is heaven for the bird watchers as it is steps from the bird reserve and provides an energetic feeling with its heated pool.
Swimming in the said heated ten metre pool not only makes any guest relaxed but it has a counter current which makes it endless. For those who prefer the beaches, these areas are also very accessible and guests can indulge themselves in the wonderful sceneries of the shores.
The property has been designed to make the most of the Knysna light and breezes with many windows and high full hieght ceilings. The area is stunning and there are many things and places to explore, which makes the guests have many options.
The Taliesin villa, on the other hand, can either be rented out as a six or four bedroom house depending on the beds needed. The property was designed and completed with two bedroom apartments which is rented out when the house is vacant. This makes it a very special apartment as it has the sole use of the gardens, decks and pool of the main house. All the beds and linen are of a very high standard so the visitors will definitely get a great nights sleep.
The Knysna region where the property is located, nestles on the banks of a beautiful lagoon in the heart of the Garden Route in South Africa. It is surrounded by a natural paradise of lush indigenous forests, tranquil lakes and golden beaches, making it a real natural wonderland.
It also offers many activities and attractions to a wide variety of people. The notion of "People, beauty and mystery" is what comes to mind when describing Knysna. The town nestles between the impressive Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean, with the world-renowned forests encircling it like a protective mantle. It is also protected from the sea by the monolithic sandstone also known as "Heads" as these were defined as the silent sentinels down the centuries of the rich history of this unique part of paradise of earth.
In and around Knysna, one will find a selection of fine restaurants, seafood taverns, pubs, coffee shops and eateries, to match any visitor's mood or budget. For the shopper, there are interesting shops tucked away around every corner with authentic African traders.
For a type of person with a passion for history, Knysna is a very intriguing destination as one would only be able to prove its beauty if they experience the area themselves.

* Prices quoted above is for group size six or below. The rates go up with the amount of people staying. There is also a R500 per nigh if the stay is less than than three nights.
Ther are special rates for four or less staying in the apartment. For example it is R1500 per night in High Season. The apartment is only rented when the house is vacant. That means it has the sole use of the outside areas including the pool. This makes it extremely good value.

Directions
If you are visiting from abroad there are many flights from major international cities to either Johanesburg or Cape Town. Catch one of the many connecting domestic flights to George. George Airport is under an hours drive from Knysna. Spectacular views on the way.
Alternatively you could drive from Cape Town. This will take you a morning or afternoon. It is a pleasant route through beautiful country side.
