The apartment comprises a double bedroom, bathroom, lounge and dining kitchen. French doors lead to a wisteria covered porch and south facing walled garden with lovely views over the village to the Chianti Hills beyond. To the rear, a breakfast BBQ terrace is enhanced by a wall fountain evoking the soft sounds of Tuscany (on/off control!). The lounge is beautifully cool in summer and cozy in winter. The sofa bed makes for an easy conversion into a second double bedroom. The traditional style kitchen is equipped to a high standard with ceramic touch operation hob and the essential espresso machine! We have two mountain bikes and a multi-gear ladies road bike for your exclusive use, and series of detailed walking notes so you can hike or cycle the vineyards. For the less energetic enjoy using our four person picnic hamper, with chairs and rug allowing you to take off and explore in style! Home entertainment includes books, games, DVDs and CD's and a library of local information.
NB: Casacorvo Minore has a 'big sister', Casacorvo Maggiore, a three bedroom, two bthroom, eight person apartment, available with restricted dates through the high season from £1000 per week.

Rates are fully inclusive including the use of bicycles throughout your stay, but please note that low season rates are based on central heating provided via a timer (little different to what most people will be used to at home). Details on reservation.
A 20% deposit is payable on reservation, with full settlement required within six (four weeks using PayPal) weeks of travel.
A fully refundable £50 damages deposit will be added to your settlement account.

Perfect place for a family with children....
This was exactly what we were hoping for and even a bit more. The tasteful apartment was perfect for two grown-ups and a kid of almost two. Nice 'breakfast balcony' but especially the small garden with the barbecue was fantastic. Very calm, nice view, airconditioned but also natuarally comfortable with thick stone walls. Friendly atmosphere in 'the Borgo'. Very delicate and comfortable.
Amazing apartment
Stayed in this apartment for six days. The facilities were great, everything you needed was provided. The welcome bottle of wine was a lovely touch. The swimming pool was beautiful and we were often the only ones using it. Gaiole is a beautiful town and you can get everything you need from there (though due to our own poor planning we sometimes missed the opening hours!). Two great pizzerias and lovely restuarants for light night Chianti. I can't wait to come back!! 10 Sept 2011
Great apartment and brilliant base for sightseeing
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Casacorvo Minore. It is a lovely apartment and well equipped. Very comfortable and the terrace has a good view of the surrounding area, so it is a great place to sit and chill! The pool is great. It is a fantastic base for sightseeing. Gaiole has shops (loved the butchers) and a small supermarket which is a few minutes walk away (longer on the way back because of the hill!) and some good restaurants.
Phil (the owner) was really helpful with plenty of advice before we went. All in all, a fantastic week and would definitely go back. 26th Sept 2011
