'Sala Kahli Lodge' boasts every amenity, from a fully equipped kitchen, cold room, wine cellar, satellite TV, DVD player and ADSL line. The office/library and cinema will satisfy your business and entertainment needs. The large rooms provide you with a wonderful feeling of space. The 3 sun filled upstairs bedrooms all have en-suite bathrooms and every luxury to touch the senses.
All linen is 100% cotton percale, ensuring that all guests sleep in ultimate luxury for complete relaxation and rejuvenation. The double volume living room offers the ideal space to relax and unwind, and for cosy dinners by the warmth of the open fireplaces.
The stylish interiors have captured the rich colors of Africa, creating a mood of harmony and well being. Inhale the magnificent views throughout the day sipping a cocktail at the swimming pool or soaking in the Jacuzzi. A butler attends during the working week to look after all chores and breakfast preparation. Only 15 min to the Pearl Valley Golf Course.
The lodge is fully heated with underfloor heating and air conditioning is available in the Master bedroom and library/study. Access to the front door is via three steps and there are two stair cases to the upper 3 bedrooms. Access is also possible from the garage providing internal access with no steps.
The house lies within a vineyard and has its own garden surrounding it with majestic views of the mountains that surround Franschhoek. The very large patio makes for easy outside living with a 10-seater oak table and many relaxing chairs offering a wonderful environment to enjoy the views and entertain around the large barbecue.
The lodge is about 40 minutes from the nearest beach at the Strand. Within an hour is Bolder beach where one can swim with penguins. The world famous Pearl Valley Golf Course that hosts the South Africa Open is 15 minutes away by car.
The location is especially great for those that love wine, sun, gourmet food (over 38 top restaurants within a mile radius), horse riding, hiking and as a base to explore the Cape. It is only 50 minutes from Cape Town, mostly accessed via a 4 lane motorway.
