The Caledonian Canal forms the western boundary and the river Tarff forms the eastern boundary. Loch Ness, is just 20 minutes drive from the city of Inverness. Excellent road, rail and air links provide easy access to the Highland capital. Minutes from the Apartment, the pretty village of Fort Augustus lies on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, with a flight of locks and a wonderful swing bridge that takes boats onto Loch Ness. The village itself gives you access to everything you need for the perfect holiday, including boat trips, shops, restaurants and bars.
