Description

It is the ideal romantic retreat for two with its four poster bed, log burning stove (logs and kindling included) and double ended whirlpool bath.

On the ground floor there is a large kitchen with dining area. The sunny, south-facing lounge, located on the first floor, features a spectacular vaulted and beamed ceiling with mezzanine floor (unused) and has wonderful views over the farmhouse's garden and old cider wheel. The lounge has a new double sofa bed for additional sleeping if required and an additional Z-bed and cot are available to offer flexible sleeping arrangements. The luxury bathroom includes a whirlpool bath and separate shower.

Children and dogs are most welcome in the cottage (notification is required at the point of booking). There is no additional charge for dogs and an exercise paddock on the farm is provided. Dog bowls and towels are provided. Crates, kennelling and dog-sitting are all available for a small fee.

Horse and pony rides are often available at the farm and it may be possible to use the owners small above ground pool - please enquire with the owner. Baby sitting services are available and the cottage is equipped with high chair, toys and free DVD's. There is a well eqipped play area with trampoline, small pets and play house. Badminton net, sandpit, swings and slide are also a feature.

Parking for one car is provided near the cottage. Further parking is available, close by, at the front of the farmhouse.

The cottage is are non smoking but guests are welcome to smoke in the outside area. There is some flexibility over changeover day - please enquire with the owner. There is Sky television provided. ... read more »hide »
