The village of Mylor Bridge is situated at the head of the creek, which has a selection of good shops and a very good pub. Rackley is almost equidistant between the busy sailing town of Falmouth and the Cathedral City of Truro, ideally placed for all that Cornwall has to offer, from the sandy beaches and coves and castles along the south coast, the magnificent north coast with its ragged coastline, along with numerous National Trust properties all to explore. The principal rooms, are all found on the ground floor. The large open plan modern superbly appointed kitchen, has an electric hob, integral electric oven and microwave. built in fridge and dishwasher, with under floor heating. The adjoining dining area overlooks the garden with views up the creek, with a separate sitting area with freeview television,DVD & CD player along with a wood burning stove.
There are three double bedrooms, the master having an adjoining sun room with fabulous views across the creek, also a single bedroom to the rear. The main family bathroom has a bath separate shower, toilet, bidet, wash hand basin and under floor heating. Through the utility room which has a washing machine & tumble dryer, is the wet room with shower and toilet. The oak stairs lead up to the study cum second sitting room, with television and DVD player. A door leads off the landing out onto the thoughtfully designed roof terrace which takes advantage of the views over the creek. Oil fired central heating throughout. The waterside garden is just ideal for summer barbecues, also direct access via steps to the creeks edge where there is an boat outhaul. There is off road parking for 2/3 cars.
The friendly village of Mylor Bridge is situated at the head of Mylor Creek. The village has a thriving community with good local facilities including a well stocked general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, post office and a traditional village pub. From Mylor Bridge, you can follow the coastal path round to the 13th century Pandora Inn at Restronguet.
Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a short distance downstream from the village and has two good seafood restaurants and cafe, plus excellent boating facilities including pontoon berths, swinging moorings with access to the Carrick roads, and a good watersports centre along with a sailing school, boat, bike and canoe hire.
