Description
There is a splendid circular walk from Mylor Harbour around Trefusis headland to Flushing via Kiln Beach which is ideal for children. The nearby village of Mylor Bridge has a superb selection of local shops, along with a post office and a very good pub. A perfect cottage for the family holiday, ideally placed for exploring Cornwall. On the ground floor is the small but fully equipped kitchen, which ajoins the dining room. The large comfortable sitting room with open fire place television, DVD, video player and CD system. The childrens snug sitting room has a television with DVD. also on the grond floor ia a cloakroom with shower. Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms. The master double with an en-suite shower room with toilet and wash hand basin, also three twin bedded rooms. Along with the family bathroom with roll topped bath, separate shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Central heating throughout the cottage. Outside there is ample parking and boat storage, with garden to the front and rear of the cottage. Dinghys can be launched at all states of the tide, from the single beach, larger boats can be moored by prior arrangement with the marina, also nearby are two sailing schools, boat & canoe hire along with two good fish restaurants.
Mylor Bridge and Mylor Harbour
The friendly village of Mylor Bridge is situated at the head of Mylor Creek. The village has a thriving community with good local facilities including a well stocked general store, butcher, fishmonger, newsagent, post office and a traditional village pub. From Mylor Bridge, you can follow the coastal path round to the 13th century Pandora Inn at Restronguet.
Mylor Yacht Harbour is just a short distance downstream from the village and has two good seafood restaurants and cafe, plus excellent boating facilities including pontoon berths, swinging moorings with access to the Carrick roads, and a good watersports centre along with a sailing school, boat, bike and canoe hire.
