Description
There is a private shingle beach within 300 yards, which is suitable for launching small boats by prior permission. A deep water mooring can be arranged. Footpaths are plentiful from the cottage and the 13th Century Pandora Inn is reached by a 15 minute walk along the creekside path. The village of Mylor Bridge is 1 mile away and has a good selection of shops and a further public house.
There is ample parking at the rear of the cottage with a door leading to a well equipped small kitchen with fridge/freezer, electric cooker, microwave and washing machine. A ground floor shower room with wash hand basin and toilet. The living room has an open fireplace (logs supplied), dining table, television, video and CD stereo.
A door leads to an enclosed sunny garden and patio at the front of the cottage, ideal for barbecues.
Stairs lead to the bedroom with a double bed and a wash basin.
Heating throughout the cottage is by night storage heaters.
Restronguet
This waterside hamlet is a totally tranquil haven with sheltered moorings - an ideal yachtsman's bolt-hole. The 13th century Pandora Inn is situated at the heart of this idyllic location.
Mylor Bridge is the nearest village, with a good selection of shops, just a mile away. Boat hire, sailing lessons and watersport tuition are available at Mylor Yacht Harbour.
The Cathedral City of Truro is just ten miles away, with the historic harbour of Falmouth just five miles away.
