Description

El Roble is situated on top of its own hill set in the mountains behind Estepona. It has spectacular sea and mountain views in all directions, is only 5 minutes from the beach and 20 min from the world famous Puerto Banus, Marbella. Estepona is only 10 minutes in the other direction. Situated between a good number of golf courses in both directions. This location is one of natural beauty and set away from any built up areas with no construction going on within miles! There are tracks to walk along right from the doorstep and an equestrian center just 2 min away. 3 Air Conditioned double bedrooms, can sleep 8 comfortably in three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a very large kitchen. Very large lounge with fireplace and spectacular views. Three terraces, a very large private outdoor pool. Pool terrace, detached on top of its own hill with fantastic views in all directions including views of Gibraltar. Very private with own drive.

The swimming pool is private as is the detached villa with no other property close by, the bedrooms are all large double rooms with king-size beds, one is very big with two beds ideal for the kids. The property also has a DVD player, 50' Plasma TV and air-con (available in all bedrooms)..

The villa can be reached from either Malaga or Gibraltar airports. Gibraltar airport is served by Monarch, British Airways and EasyJet. Car hire available from both airports. Guest assistance & support number during your stay.

Estepona is a medium size town with no high rise hotels, it is a typical Spanish town with bars and restaurants. There are very good beaches and golf courses in the area. It is a 20 min drive to the world famous Peurto Banus, Marbella. There are several Marinas close by with a nice feel to them, they all have restaurants and bars with excellent beaches. The area is served by two airports Malaga 65 k and Gibralter 40k away. There are plenty of large supermarkets just a short drive away. There are also local Markets on Weds & Sundays. Other local attractions include a wildlife park - Selwo, Country Club, Golf Courses, Drive to the top of our local mountain or try horse riding.

The 3 double bedrooms all have KING SIZE BEDS!! Bedroom 1, SUPER KING SIZE BED, Bedroom 2, KING SIZE BED and Bedroom 3, two KING SIZE BEDS. More pictures available please ask and we will send them to you via e mail. ALL BOOKINGS MADE BEFORE END OF 2011 FOR 2012 ONLY NEED £99!!! TO HOLD THE DATES YOU WANT. Villa E Roble is privately owned and is the only holiday home that we manage; it is also where we take our holidays. We manage it ourselves and it is us that you will meet when you arrive on holiday, we have owned the Villa for eight years and have built on the experience during that time. It is also us that will give you the support while you are there. It is not run by any other holiday company or agent so you will only deal with us directly the owners. We take great pride in our Villa and in the service that you get as guests. We realise that your annual holiday is very important; so we work very hard to ensure your stay at our beautiful villa is a very enjoyable one. Sometimes it is the small things that can really annoy us, you wont open the wardrobe doors and find a few hangers (how annoying is that!!) you will have more hangers than you need, how refreshing! Also the kitchen cupboards are well stocked with crockery and cutlery and all the things that we need at home.

We have stayed at other holiday homes that when you open the cupboard to get out a cup or glass and find there are only a few there. You will not have this problem at El Roble; even if you did manage to use them all, the dishwasher will soon put that problem to bed! While on the subject of beds, how many times have you been to a hotel or holiday home and found the beds to small, or uncomfortable, well El Roble only has King Size beds! In air conditioned bedrooms. It is for these reasons and many more that we have returning guests each year, so why not give us a try? Seems like ages ago now that we were luxuriating in your lovely villa and enjoying the fantastic views whilst supping a glass or two of the local cava. We had a fantastic holiday and thank you very much for making us so welcome. We had a really easy journey home from Gibraltar airport.

I have been renting villas for over 15 years, and this is the best I have ever had - superbly equipped, very spacious and a great pool. The owners could not have been more helpful - wish all my villa rental holidays had been like this! Altogether strongly recommended for a great holiday. (Note: A car is absolutely essential.)

Back in Holland and back to work but still in a very good holiday spirit!
It was great to finally meet you to and to stay in your villa.
We had a great time and enjoyed the villa so much that we hardly ever left "the mountain" except for getting new supplies and see the family!
The pool was well used and cooling, the terras beautiful, the rooms were great(beautiful bathrooms), the big TV screen was greet to watch the Dutch football matches, the kitchen provided us with everything we needed and the view was to die for!
Thanks again for a wonderful stay and who knows maybe we will meet again!

Villa was fantastic
Hi Geoff & Nicki

We looked out of our bedroom window on Sunday morning and were very disappointed not to have the view of the sea and the rock of Gibraltor but we're SLOWLY coming to terms with it!

Villa was fantastic (best one we've had in our many years of villa holidays) and it was nice to meet you and have the personal touch of being shown around. It's also nice to have a good sized pool so you can have a proper swim.

As we said, would love to come back and stay at El Roble again and will hopefully be in touch next year.

Take care and enjoy the sunshine (we're not jealous at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

"X Factor Villa"
Hi Geoff and Nicki,

We all really enjoyed our holiday and your villa was superb! Absolutely everything had been thought of, the kitchen was equipped better than ours and having booked villas for a number of years now it felt more like staying in someone's home rather than just a holiday rental. The bathrooms were lovely, with powerful showers that worked properly and the view from the bath was to die for! We all loved the pool which was huge, and it was really nice to have a proper swim rather than it being something to just cool off in. The 'pool bar' was also a firm favourite with the girls, and perfect to sit at with a G and T watching the sun over the mountains. We visited some of the local towns but our favourite part of our holiday was knowing that we were going back to Villa El Roble, getting the bbq started and sitting out on the enormous terrace with a glass of something, taking in the amazing views! I could go on but am probably rambling now so will finish by saying how nice it was to meet you both and how much we appreciate you meeting us, despite our late night arrival (and detour!!!). The personal touch made all the difference and is what set this villa holiday apart from all the others we have had.

I have no sympathy for you when you say it is still very hot! It is cold and wet here and would swap with you anytime! As I have said it was really lovely meeting you both and we will have great memories of our stay at El Roble. If you watch X factor, Erin commented that the villa was like one of the judge's houses!! Praise indeed.

Hope that you are enjoying your holiday...how could you not???

We all had a fabulous time at your lovely villa, trouble is, it is too easy to be lazy up there on the hill..oh well all holidays have their challenges ha ha.

I will mail over the dates for next year at the weekend..pity we are off to Borneo in Feb or I think me and Pete would have come over in May too. Well maybe I will be able to sloppy soap him!!! Seriously though long haul, tropical weather, jet lag, 5star pressure of what to wear, when to eat the price of a G&T etc...Why would you do it when all you really want to do is relax, I have realised I am getting a bit past my adventure holidays.....so El Roble here we come.

Great to put faces to names really good to meet you all including that cutey Jack.

• Want luxury, fabulous service and value for money? – choose El Roble!
• Is the villa really as good as it looks on the website? – it’s not, it’s better!
• Is it private? Will being on the top of your own little mountain do?
• Need space for a large family? You got it, inside and out.
• Has it got everything you’ll need? Yes, down to coat hangers and cutlery.
• What about my teenagers? 50 inch plasma TV and DVD, OK?
• What about my young children? Huge pool, swim up table & seating, OK?
• And the adults? All this and the kids are happy? It's a no brainer.

"Great Holiday"
"We have just returned from a fantastic 11 day holiday at Villa El Roble.

Everything about the booking was simple and straightforward and we were met on our arrival day by the owner Geoff who showed us to the villa and how everything worked.

The villa was spotlessly clean and the fabulous kitchen had every pot pan, gadget or utensil you might need. The rooms were light and airy with modern furnishings and the air conditioning in the bedrooms was a real bonus.

The outdoor areas around the villa are great and the pool has sun all day, although the palm trees give shade which was nice as it did get very hot while we were there.

The large swimming pool was sparkling and clean and the water temperature was just right. Some pools we have had in other villas have been too cold , even in the height of summer, to enjoy but the pool at El Roble was lovely.

Geoff and his partner Nicki were extremely helpful and gave us some ideas for great days out. We had a lovely day in Ronda, with its spectacular Mountain scenery and a day trip to Gibraltar ( both easy days out with a car) Many beaches are also within minutes drive of the villa.

All in all we had a fabulous holiday and would not hesitate to recommend the villa to family and friends and if we travel to this part of Spain again will definitely be staying at El Roble."

Villa fabulous!
Hi Geoff and Nicki,

Yet again we just had the most fab holiday, infact Liz, is now living in Qatar and our plan was to visit her next year and then on to do some time in the Maldives...well scraped....back to El Roble for us!

Last year I suffered my new bathrooms v yours and yours left us standing, this year my new kitchen v yours and you have done it again!!! Love love the fridge and the pan cupboard. You really are making the Villa fabulous.

As you can imagine really busy now trying to catch up so apologies for the short mail. Could I ask you see if we can secure the following dates for next year and let me have the cost.

Hope that the new arrivals are doing well and no doubt are being spolit by you both.
