Highly Recommended
Having just completed a three-month stay, after having stayed in the flat for almost two months in 2011, I think it is important to say how well the flat functions, not only for short stays, but for extended visits. The location is excellent with easy access to all major museums, good restaurants, pubs, and shopping, as well as the University of Edinburgh. It is extremely well cared for, spaciously cozy, and easy to use and occupy; its kitchen is well set up, and the building is secure and safe. The owners are easy and civil in all dealings — friendly — and were a pleasure to work with. Overall I rate the flat as an excellent base for enjoying working or touring in Edinburgh. And, if you want to enjoy the largest Farmer’s Market in Scotland, it’s only a few blocks away every Saturday morning — breads, sweets, fish, local produce and cheese are great to take back to the flat.
