There are plenty of interesting shops and cafes in North Berwick town centre - just two minutes walk away. Down the road is the harbour with the award winning Scottish Seabird Centre. There are wide, safe sandy beaches, making them ideal for family days out.
Boat trips take you out to the islands, the largest of which is the bird sanctuary of the Bass Rock, There is also The Law to climb, giving you an unbeatable view of East Lothian and the Firth of Forth.
North Berwick is in the heart of the Golf Coast with numerous local and East Lothian golf courses. Other sports include tennis,diving, and putting.
Other nearby attractions include the Museum of Flight (with Concorde), Tantallon and Dirleton castles.
The train takes just 35 minutes from North Berwick into Edinburgh Centre (Waverley and Haymarket), making a visit to Edinburgh easy and enjoyable.
The welcoming wood-floored hall accesses the lounge, all three bedrooms and the bathroom.
The lounge is flooded with light from two tall sash and case windows. Around a traditional style living flame fire are arranged comfortable armchairs and sofa. For your entertainment, there is a TV with satellite reception and DVD player, as well as a radio and CD player. Broadband connection and phone for incoming calls are also available.
At one end of the room is a wooden dining table with seating for six. Up lighters and wall lamps create a very cosy atmosphere.
Off the sitting room is the large kitchen, with designer units, sleek granite worktops and Belfast sink. It is fully equipped and has a double Stoves electric oven, separate gas hob, large American style fridge/freezer, dishwasher, washer, microwave and the usual toaster, kettle etc.
The twin bedroom has tall windows looking to the front, making it light and bright. Ample storage space is available in the large fitted wardrobes.
There is a further bedroom at the front of the property with bunk beds, hanging space and a chest of drawers.
The third bedroom, at the back of the property, also with bunk beds, has an in-built wardrobe with generous shelves. It also hosts a computer desk with chair and ready-to-use internet connection.
The large luxury bathroom offers a deep roll top bath, double walk-in shower, sink and wc with slate tiling to floor and walls. There is a heated towel rail in addition to under floor heating.
