The main floor provides an L-shaped living and dining room with hi-fi and satellite TV, French windows to front terrace, well equipped kitchen, three large bedrooms, two double bedrooms, one twin bedroom as well as a bathroom and a separate WC. On the lower floor, guests will find a summer kitchen and laundry, shower and WC, games room and lockable garage, two covered terraces leading into 1.5 acres of landscaped park with pool 6.5 meters by twelve meters, a pool house, garden and pool furniture plus a barbecue and table tennis. Prices include household linens and towels while the changeover day is Friday.
The villa is fully equipped for a comfortable stay with all the usual labor-saving devices.
The kitchen has modern electric facilities, including oven, halogen hob, microwave, refrigerator, dish-washer, electric kettle, toaster, coffee machine, under and over cupboard lighting and an extractor to keep the heat down. There is also a baby's highchair.
The living room has comfortable seating, a dining area and Hi-Fi system offering multi-standard DVD, CD, MP3 and JPEG replay with satellite reception providing English and French TV and radio programs. Twin doors from the living room open onto the terrace giving views of fields and, in the distance, the nearby village. The terraces at the front and at the side of the villa are both equipped with their own sets of tables and chairs for outside dining alternatives. Breakfast on the front terrace is particularly recommended!
There are two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom all with fitted wardrobes/cupboards, and two cots are also available. On the same floor there is a bathroom and separate WC with washbasin. All bed-linen and indoor towels are supplied.
In addition, the lower ground floor, reachable via stairs from the kitchen or from outside has a kitchen/laundry area with electric oven, refrigerator (another), two washing machines for those larger loads, tumble drier and double-sink. These facilities are easily accessible from the pool area and from the outside brick barbecue which is located in the garden near to the lower ground floor kitchen. Also on this level is another shower and WC, large games room and lockable garage for guests use. The games room has two double French doors leading to the swimming pool as well as a small English library and games. For the energetic the villa have provided weights, chest-expanders, two cycle machines, thigh-exercisers and a rowing machine close to the downstairs shower facilities. For the workaholic-on-holiday the villa have provided a wireless LAN connection to an ADSL (Broadband) ISP (Wanadoo). The Internet connection is currently 20MBPS. The kidney-shaped pool is around twelve meters by 6.5 meters and has under-water illumination with extensive seating areas and with a large, modern, pool-house and bar which provide shade and space to prepare snacks and drinks. The pool house also has its own table and chairs. The pool depth at the shallow end is 1.05 meters. The deep end (maximum) is 2.20 meters more than enough for guests to make use of the spring-board.
For peace of mind the owner’s have invested some time and money in making the villa and its surroundings safe. They have had a pool fence installed according to current French regulations. There is a permanent smoke alarm installed and fire extinguishers are held on both floors in the villa. Access to the internal stairs can easily be prevented as they are behind a lockable door. The pool has rescue equipment and guidelines about its use and depth. There are plastic cups and plates provided for outdoors dining. There is lockable internal garaging for a car. The villa has been rewired and modern safety-trips are provided on all electrical circuits. Finally they have added a security lights at the entrance to the villa near the barbecue and on the far corner of the villa as well as garden lights in the grounds. Due to the size of the grounds it is still a very good idea to keep track of children although it is very unlikely that they would come to any harm. The path to the villa steps from the garage area is snow illuminated by built-in floor-level lighting.

NOTE: Friday arrival means lower prices and greater availability for flights, ferries and en route accommodation, and you can do your shopping and be settled in for the weekend. It also gives you full weekends to experience the famous French Saturday markets and celebrations. Our prices are all in Sterling.
To book your holiday follow the steps below:
1. Check availability and then email or call us to make your booking.
2. We will confirm availability.
3. You then need to complete and sign our Booking Form and mail it to us together with a non-refundable deposit of £150.
It is advisable to confirm by email, telephone or fax that you have mailed the completed booking form together with the deposit as described. We will hold the reservation for up to five days.
If your booking is within 8 weeks of departure, the full amount must be paid at the time of booking.
4. If you are in the UK, payment should be by Sterling or Euro cheque, made payable to George and Mary Brooke. From outside the UK, payment should be by bank transfer. (Bank transfers will be subject to an additional £25 surcharge to cover collection charges.)
5. Balance of payment is due not less than 56 days (8 weeks) prior to arrival at the property.
6. There is a security Deposit of £200 to be paid at the same time as the balance. This is held to secure against damage or breakages to the property or its contents.
7. All bookings are subject to our full Terms and Conditions which you must read.
