By Car: Major routes south from the channel ports; aim for Libourne, a town north-east of Bordeaux. The chateau is less than an hour's drive from Libourne.
By Train: Take the Eurostar from Waterloo and change at either Lille (a platform change) or Paris (involves crossing the city) in order to board the southbound TGV to Libourne station were car hire can be arranged.
