Description
The farmhouse sleeps 10 with its 4 bedrooms. Located in Pessac sur Dordogne, the house is situated in an acre of garden with a nice private pool. It is within a walking distance from the local village and the Dordogne river. The surrounding area is great for fishing, canoeing, cycling, sightseeing, tennis and wine tasting.
The house is designed to be very user-friendly. It is accessible to wheelchair users as there is only one staircase from the driveway to the patio. All rooms are on the same level.
The garden has a 5mx10m private pool. There are sun loungers and an outside table and chairs at the patio beside the barbeque.
The Atlantic coast is nearly 50 min. drive away. It has the largest sand dunes in Europe and a water park. The closest beach is in Arcachon which is 50 min drive away.
The Chateau le Vigiers golf course is 20 min. drive away. It is a superb 18-hole golf course with a restaurant nearby. The following areas are also accessible from the farmhouse: St Emillion (25 min. travel time), Ste Foy la Grande (13 mins.), Montapazier (40 mins.), Sarlat (1.5hours) and Bordeaux (45 mins.).
The picturesque village of St. Emillion (25 min. drive) is a perfect destination for wine lovers. It is the home to some of the world’s famous wines.
