Relaxing through lounge with wood burning stove, large eat in kitchen, sunny courtyard garden. Three minutes from the beach, two minutes from Deal's independent shops, Saturday local market & bustling High Street. Beach, pier, castle, coastal walks, restaurants, tea shops, pubs, local food shops/delis, antiques & vintage, art, golf courses are all on the doorstep. Five minutes by car to Royal St Georges golf course, home of the 2011 British Open. Laid back, traditional seaside escape. Free parking, bicycle hire. Canterbury, Whitstable and Broadstairs all a half hour car journey away. Day trips to France from Dover 15 minutes away.

Once a 17th Century smugglers hideaway and an original Cinque Port, Deal is now a thriving market town, with historic fishermen's cottages, a Georgian seafront, independent shops, cafes, pubs & restaurants, yet only 90 miles from London & 20 miles from France (you can see the French coast on a clear day).
