The apartment itself is gorgeous. It’s been tastefully decorated throughout – contemporary comfort springs to mind – and is spacious and light. There are three big bedrooms (one family, one double and one twin) all with en-suite bathrooms and TVs. The kitchen is fully integrated with all the mod cons. Next to the kitchen there’s a very handy (for the west coast of Scotland at least) drying room complete with clothes pulley and washing machine. The lounge/dining room overlooks the seafront and is a great place to relax, watch TV, listen to music or pick a board game or book from the library. There’s an enclosed garden with furniture and barbeque, which is ideal for children.
And if that isn’t enough to convince you, there’s private parking, central heating and double glazing throughout – so you’ll be nice and toasty in all seasons.

recommended Cowal is well known as the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, and is little over an hour from Glasgow. Take some time out and escape to this idyllic part of Scotland which is a haven for wildlife and outdoor activities, but also has great restaurants, pubs and festivals. |

For such a small part of Scotland, there is an amazing contrast in the landscape throughout the Peninsula. North Cowal is distinctively rugged and remote, with Loch Eck surely one of the most breathtakingly picturesque stretches of water in Europe. South East Cowal is the home of Cowal’s only major town, Dunoon, the location of amazing historic botanical gardens with a coastline indented with sea lochs and peppered with many lively small communities. South West Cowal is "Argyll’s Secret Coast", a remote and beautiful stretch of Cowal Coastline taking in the spectacular Kyles of Bute and the picturesque town of Tighnabruaich.

You can travel by Citylink Bus or by train from Glasgow to the ferry terminals at Gourock. Calmac and Western Ferries both serve the Dunoon area and both ferry operators have passenger facilities.
By car
Follow the M8 from Glasgow to Gourock where you can catch either the Western Ferries or the Calmac Ferry to Dunoon. You can also drive via the A82, a very picturesque route past Loch Lomond and through the Argyll countryside. See the AA web site for a route planner.
On arrival at Dunoon using the CalMac ferry, turn right and follow coastal road for approx 1/2 mile, on passing through 2nd roundabout Sebright is 4th houses along on left hand side. On arrival at the Western Ferries terminal , turn left and follow the coastal road for approx 1 1/2 miles. Sebright is on the right, 4 houses before the first roundabout on the coastal road.
