Gorgeous converted Spanish villa with stunning views

Wonderful in every way
We, 5 of us, spent upwards of a week at Can Lledo in May and I must say, it was one of the best holidays we've spent anywhere. The villa is perfection with plenty of room for all of us (and more), an expansive view of the mountains, town, and Mediterranean, a gorgeous pool, excellent service from Sara and Tony, and on and on. The use of the Jeep was fantastic as we were able to drive at our leisure around the fantastic Costa Brava region. The house and grounds were perfectly maintained exactly as the photographs indicated. We particularly enjoyed several delicious lunches in surrounding towns and Tony's prepared supper was a delight. Both Sara and Tony were wonderful guides. We love them We were grateful for the booklet prepared by the owners which listed, often with photos, attractions, maps, activities, and restaurants. I highly recommend Can Lledo in every way. Can't wait to return with more friends!

Fabulous and spacious villa in a beautful spot
Three generations stayed in Can Lledo for a fabulous week. The beautiful pool is highly suitable and safe for toddlers, the older children never came out of it and the adults chilled around it admiring the fantastic view down to the coast. The villa itself is stunning, lots of space, great for entertaining outside on the veranda, or in the lovely open plan kitchen/ dinning room. Lots for children to do if too hot, with a well equipped playroom and large cool TV room, outside the grounds included a treehouse! We were very comfortable and enjoyed the stylish furnishings. The villa is set in a beautiful area and close to the airport- we had an amazing time!

Something for everyone
I've been to Can Lledo a few times now and I love it more and more each time. Each new trip I discover something new about the house or the surrounding countryside. It has a bit of everything - adventure, relaxation, luxury, fun, sun, tranquility, privacy... The house is a great mixture of old charm and modern convenience and the location and views are stunning. When you have spent the day by the pool, on the beach, roaming the countryside, playing table tennis etc. there is then a great selection of varied restaurants all within a short distance. It's also comforting to discover that the owner takes a very hands-on approach to the maintenance and service of the house which results in a great all round experience. I am going back and would definitely recommend it for a wide range of holidays...

A little piece of heaven in the hills of Spain!
I loved it here! Beautiful villa, stunning pool views and all the extras you'd ever wish for in a holiday rental. Great for all ages, and the two children we had with us in the group had a fabulous time. We will definitely be back! Thank you for such a special time!

4 nights of bliss
My four nights at Can Lledo were the first I had spent away from my daughter since her birth and there couldn't have been anywhere better to be.

Everything about this house is wonderful - the views, the luxe bedrooms/bathrooms/kitchen etc, the general feeling of space, the pool, the location - not too far from anywhere but just isolated enough to feel really peaceful.

This house is a true gem - not one to be missed.

Truly stunning villa and location
The best part of staying at Can Lledo was opening the bedroom window in the morning and seeing the breathtaking view. That combined with the peace and tranquility of the setting and beautiful interior created by Nicola and Nicholas makes for a really fabulous holiday.

It's also worth mentioning that Girona airport is really convenient and with Barcelona an hour away this is a great spot for opening up Catalonia - a hire car is a must to make the most of it.

I would absolutely recommend this villa, it is big and versatile and an ideal base from which to explore the region, with the benefit of rural tranquility for days by the pool and views to die for.

Pure Paradise!
Well we're not quite sure where to start in explaining our experience at Can Lledo, however a few words spring to mind...AMAZING, BREATH TAKING AND A PURE PARADISE !!!

The pictures you see of Can Lledo are just a fraction of the beauty you will experience in person. The views are out of this world and the villa it's self is a rural idyllic retreat!

There is absolutely everything you can think of and dream to have at Can Lledo, from the spacious open plan kitchen with views over the hills while you cook, modern decor and facilities but keeping that Catalan rustic charm. You're spoilt for choice with the numerous en suite luxurious bedrooms and not forgetting to mention the infinity pool which just takes your breath away.

The local amities are just 15 minutes drive away, but once you have stocked up on all your needs you'll never want to leave, as there is so much to do from relaxing by the pool, enjoying a quiet read in the snug and entertaining friends and family with a variety of games, or just taking a leisurely strol in the hills! You can also get a real taste of Catalonia with Girona town being just a 20 minute drive away.

It really is the most beautiful retreat we have ever been to and will find it near impossible to match the amazing memories we hold from our holidays at Can Lledo.

A villa of the highest quality in a great location
Slightly off the beaten track, this villa is more reminiscent of a luxury pad near St Tropez than the rolling hills of Catalonia. The set up is first class with excellent facilities, including some superb quality bathrooms (some with amazing views) and bedrooms as well as a well fitted out kitchen. The grounds are spacious with plenty of room for a large group to spread out in, enjoying the gardens, views and, of course, the pool. Whilst there, my group took advantage of a number of the excellent golf courses, many only a short drive from the villa, including PGA Catalunya, Golf d'Aro and Golf Girona. Overall, an excellent villa that I would certainly recommend.

Fantsatic villa in the hills
I've spent a couple of holidays in Can Illedo and have had the most fantastic time on both occasions. The first time I stayed there, I was blown away by the location. The house is situated in the hills close to Cassa de la Selva so you are tucked away in the hills but you can see the little sailing boats on the sea in the distance.

Can Illedo has the perfect balance of being a rural idyll, as it was originally a farmhouse but has been sympathetically renovated with all mod cons and to a very high spec.

While tucked away in the hills, the supermarket in Cassa is only 10 minutes away and there are some very good restaurants a short drive away.

We were a group of girls who were all looking for a relaxing week away from it all. Can Illedo was the perfect solution!

Idyllic location, perfect for a golf break
I stayed at this beautiful property with two friends for long golfing weekend in early October. Access is very quick from Girona airport -and the property has been reconstructed to 5* standard throughout. The view is exceptional, the house most comfortable and the weather throughout our stay was perfect. We played PGA Catalunia and Gold D'Aro - both within ready driving distance.
For golfers (and any non-golfing other halves) - this is a wonderful place to go for a week's break. Very strongly recommended.

Secluded Elegance
Easy to get to from the airport, in a lovely part of Spain, a hidden gem overlooking wooded mountains with far off views to the sea. An elegantly decorated and furnished family home to be shared by those who love secluded luxury and evening BBQ's or visits to some wonderful restaurants. We really loved it - a place for children, grandparents and all in between; a real home from home, and good value too.

Top Family Holiday
When I was searching our holiday villa on the web for my family (my mother, 4 couples and 4 children (1 to 4y), I immediately decided to book Can Lledo. And it proved to be above our expectations. Enjoying the evening sun on the terrace with a splendid view over the L’Estartit with a glass of wine in our hand, while kids in bed… The swimming pool is well adapted for small kids. My 4y old son learned to swim his first meters without help. The memory of Spain for our kids is the swimming pool and Can Lledo. Now, February, they are still asking to go back. One evening we’ve decided to have dinner in a restaurant: in the house is wifi, and a book with suggestions. After organizing a babysit (two English ladies living further up), we had a fantastic experience for very few Euros.

I would recommend this house to groups or families of all kind. Spacious, well equipped, new, and amid the trees.
