Description
Villa Emilios has three bedrooms comfortably sleep six guests. It has panoramic views from the balconies and pool terrace down to the bays of Kalami, Kouloura and Kerasia.
One of our top villas, Villa Emilios offers uninterrupted panoramic views from the balconies and pool terrace down to the bays of Kalami, Kouloura and Kerasia and across to the mainland. It is very luxuriously appointed, with a large modern kitchen, and three fully air-conditioned, en suite bedrooms, including a master bedroom 'suite' featuring a bathroom with 'Jacuzzi' style bath and shower. It is touches like this that elevate Villa Emilios into a class of its own. All of this is complemented by a highly desirable private swimming pool making the villa ideal for a family holiday.
Layout
Steps lead up from the parking area to the ground floor, with living room, dining area and kitchen. Cloakroom. Twin bedroom with en suite bathroom.
Upper floor: Master double bedroom with en suite bath/Jacuzzi, twin bedroom with en suite shower room.
Laundry room downstairs.
Living Area
The pale, neutral colours of the lounge contrast with the vivid colors of the view outside. Comfortable seating is set off by a brick fireplace and wooden ceiling beams. Patio doors lead to the breakfast terrace.
The lounge also offers a 32' Plasma TV with 'freeview' satellite stations.
Kitchen
The modern kitchen includes an eye level oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, ceramic hob, extractor fan and dishwasher.
Dining Area
The large wooden dining table is adjacent to the kitchen.
Breakfast area adjacent to the pool.
Bedrooms
All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms, air-conditioning, floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes and either a terrace or balcony with magnificent views.
Ground Floor Bedroom
On the ground floor to the left of the staircase is a twin bedded room with en suite bathroom and French doors leading directly onto the pool terrace.
Upstairs
A staircase leads up to the first floor with its two en suite bedrooms. One of these is the Master double bedroom, with en suite bath and Jacuzzi, and the other is a twin bedroom with en suite shower room.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom has a double bed and French doors opening on to a partly shaded upper terrace. From here there is a bird's eye view of the pool area below.
En Suite Bathroom
The en suite bathroom is located through an archway. The Jacuzzi bath with six water jets will certainly help you unwind after an arduous day by the pool!
Master Bedroom Balcony
The master bedroom has a large part-covered patio, that overlooks the pool and offers amazing seaviews. A wooden dining table offers yet another location for the family to enjoy the panoramas.
Bedroom 3
The third bedroom is twin bedded with a separate wardrobe area leading you to the en suite shower room.
Each bedroom has its own en suite bathroom.
A separate guest WC and washroom is located off the hallway.
Utility Room
For your convenience, there is a washing machine located downstairs in a separate laundry room, together with an iron and ironing board.
A large covered barbecue area built in local stone, is located to the right of the kitchen.
Surrounding Area
The location of Villa Emilios ensures total privacy, yet from the villa there is access to a great variety of walks through 'Old Corfu' - along the hillsides through quaint little villages and shady olive groves. The bays of Kalami, Kouloura and Agni are all just below the Villa, but a car is recommended.

The Pool
The pool is imaginatively designed to take full advantage of its south-facing aspect. With full sun almost all day long, the shady area beneath the upstairs terrace offers a cool retreat without having to leave the pool. There is plenty of room around the pool terrace for sun beds and umbrellas.
The wooden pool furniture combines modern style with elegance making a delightful setting for al fresco meals and drinks.

Kalami: The bay of Kalami nestles below the hills of the North East Corfu and is famous for both its beautiful beach, and Lawrence Durrell's 'White House'. A popular destination for couples, Kalami is also ideal for a family holiday with tavernas, safe swimming, water sports and boat hire - everyone is catered for! Kouloura: The tiny fishing village of Kouloura is a working harbour, where many of the locals moor their boats. The view of the harbour is probably one of the most famous in the area, having been painted by many visiting artists. The main house is owned by the Italian Agnelli family (think Ferrari) and is used as their holiday home. The nearby Taverna specializes in locally caught fish. Saint Stephanos: The island of Corfu has its secrets and Saint Stephanos, set around a horse-shoe shaped bay, is certainly one of them. An extremely pretty fishing village, located between Kalami and Kassiopi, that has managed to retain its traditional look and laidback feel . There is a small local Greek community that welcomes its visitors with the warmth and hospitality for which Greece is famous. The excellent setting, waterfront Tavernas and bars, along with a scattering of mini-markets, shops and boat hire create a delightful Greek island holiday destination. Kerasia is a long sweeping beach and one of the most beautiful on the island, with excellent swimming and snorkelling. Kerasia is for those looking for complete peace and quiet, to laze in the sun or enjoy a quiet read, with an excellent beach Taverna and a small shop to cater for your beach needs. Agni Bay: In Greek Agni means un-spoilt and this describes Agni perfectly - just three Tavernas (each with their own jetty for mooring up to) and a sprinkle of local buildings. The bay is reached mainly by rented motor boats, although recently there is now a narrow road down into the bay. Each evening we offer a 'Speed Boat' taxi service, from surrounding bays to Taverna Agni. The above video shows the exciting experience.
