It has been carved from an traditional Edwardian house, dating from about 1900 - over 100 Years old! As much of the original features have been retained however there have been additions during the 50's and 60's. The whole area's housing stock is from a similar period and there are rows of very pretty period houses. The streets are tree-lined outside and in the surrounding area and house is near a lovely park. It is 1 minute walk to food stores, Tesco Express and multitude of shops open 24 hours a day. The flat is very comfortable, spacious, is beautifully bright, light and airy and above all, full of charecter. It is modern yet in keeping with the traditional surroundings of the building. The communal area outside the selfcontained room is a massive flat on different levels with lots of character. It has everything including storage spaces. It also has a beautiful shared decked garden. The lounge/diner in the communal area has a lovely open outlook and has a lot of glass to let in the sunshine. There is a luxury bath etc. It is a quiet, relaxed, caring, friendly house.

The house itsself is near a lovely park which is children friendly. It is 1 minute walk to 24 hour food stores, Tesco Express and multitude of shops open 24 hours a day. The flat is very comfortable, spacious, is beautifully bright, light and airy and above all, full of charecter. It is modern yet in keeping with the traditional surroundings of the building. The flat also has a really nice decked garden to relax in or have a BBQ. The lounge/diner has a lovely open outlook in to the garden with a chandelier and has a lot of glass to let in the sunshine and has stunning views to the garden. TRANSPORT: Wood Green is a very leafy suburb of London. It is in the north part of the city and is well served by transport on the Piccadilly line straight from Heathrow Airport and via Kings Cross from Luton and Gatwick Airports. The immediate area is very well served by transport links via bus, rail and tube. It is a short stroll from the tube (Wood Green station) & Overland Rail stations (Bowes Park Rail), which will take you to the heart of London (Covent Garden/ Leicester Square or Moorgate) in 20 minutes or less. It is also well served by 24 hour bus services from Trafalgar Square in central London. Night buses from Trafalgar Square run every hour throughout the night so you will never be stranded. All parts of London are easily accessible by both tube and overland rail aswell as bus services. 12 minutes walk is the Shopping City which has a huge cinema complex, large shops and stores, restaurants and bars, library etc. The area is green, leafy with Alexandra Palace and parks on its doorstep, with breathtaking views across the whole of London from east to west and has an Ice rink, a small golf course, a boating lake and deers. Wood Green has a huge shopping centre and cinemas and restaurants. It is close to Crouch End and Muswell Hill, which provide ample opportunity for shopping or just lazing about in Alexandra Park or eateries and traditional pubs of Crouch End, Muswell Hill and further afield Finsbury Park or Highgate. 3 minutes walk from the flat is a little park near by with a great Italian restaurant that opens out to the park. The area is also served by Turkish and Greek restaurants. Tree lined streets, near park, 30 seconds Tesco Express and all amenities 24 hours a day, night bus from central London 24 hours, nr huge shopping city/cinemas/Ice rink. 10 mins walk to BR to Moorgate.

SOME FRIENDLY RULES: Thank you in advance for being good guests and observing the following friendly House rules:
-Shoes should NOT be worn in the flat-slippers only as cleanliness is next to godliness!: )
-Strictly No smoking at all except in the garden
-No food or liquid stains on the floor
-No crazy parties or noise so you are respecful to neighbours
-No one other than the people who booked the room/flat to occupy the room/flat
-Leave the flat reasonably clean throwing out your rubbish : )
-Switch off lights and heating when leaving the flat each day or out during the day to conserve energy
-Do not remove anything from the room/flat
-Inform us when leaving if you have broken or damaged anything, as if we find out later and need to make another trip to replace items we will charge you for our time on a second trip. We understand some things are likely to get damaged (like glasses etc) and will be sympathetic and probably let you off if you are honest and sincere with us : )
