Description

Great for families and singles situated in a private cul-de-sac of 10 chalets opposite a forest and the river Dranse, the chalet is new (built 2000) very comfortable and spacious and is a five minute drive from four ski lift areas (Linga; Super-Chatel; Petit Chatel; and La Chapelle); with a free regular ski bus service nearby and within easy reach of the local large supermarket just minutes away. It is a second home so there is a real family feel. The self-contained basement works really well for those families requiring privacy and also the option of enjoying the chalet together. Teenagers love chilling out in the basement with their own kitchen; lounge; dining room; and 50" plasma screen. It is a 15 minute walk into the village across fields and a 30 minute walk along the road. There is a free bus service and some bars/restaurants also offer a free taxi service in the evenings. There is a ski hire service opposite that delivers skis and boots to the chalet. The skiing and boarding suits all levels and there is also lots for non-skiers to do. Airport transfers can be arranged. The chalet is only 80 minutes drive from Geneva and 30 minutes drive from Aigle Station. Avoriaz (2500m) has an excellent snow record from December to April and is easily accessed from Chatel. It is a wonderful place to enjoy winter and summer holidays in the peace and tranquillity of the mountains away from the cares and stress of everyday life. Frequent guests can enjoy loyalty discounts and special offers and also enjoy the option of leaving baggage and skis/boots at the chalet making travel easy and inexpensive especially for families. We can also help with online bookings for ski hire, ski passes, ski gear, and ski lessons to help save cost.

The balance of 75% will fall due eight weeks before the start of the hire period together with a damage deposit of 300.00. When booking within eight weeks of departure, the full amount due is required when making your request. Before booking please take some time to read our standard booking conditions and return a signed copy to us with your request. We shall confirm to you within three days of receiving your request whether we can accept the booking and if so, we shall then bank the cheque.

We were all very comfortable in the Chalet, sitting round the wonderful log fire, dining in the chalet or just taking a well earned rest in bed. With the 6 bathrooms/shower rooms each room we all had access to our own bathrooms – it was great!”
