Wilmersdorf is possibly central Berlin's finest neighborhood. Until the wall came down in November 1989, the thriving metropolis of West Berlin centered around Wilmersdorf's famous Kurfürstendamm (or 'Ku Damm' as it is known locally). Walk up this broad up-market avenue and you will see all the famous shops, culminating at Tauentzienstrasse, where you will find KDW, Germany's answer to Harrods. Even in a united Berlin, the best parts of the old West Berlin, such as central Wilmerdorf (where the apartment is located), still enjoy some of the greatest concentrations of shops, restaurants, hotels and transport connections. Walk up Ku' damm to the wonderful Berlin Zoo, site of the famous Gedächtniskirche, stopping for shopping, or to eat at one of the hundreds of local restaurants, offering high quality cuisine of every nationality! NOTE: A. PRICES

1. NB: PRICES ABOVE ARE PER PERSON (NOT PER ROOM!!! - WEBSITE DOES NOT OFFER THIS OPTION) AND BASED ON 4 PEOPLE SHARING. For other party sizes, see below:
Parties of five = fifth person (using sofa bed) goes half price.
Parties of three = standard price per person add 20%.
Parties of two or less = same price as for parties of three, but NO final cleaning charge.

2. STAYS OF MORE THAN 1 WEEK are charged at the cheaper weekly rate (or fraction thereof) and not the higher weekend and/or nightly rate.

3. FREE KIDS PLACES for children UNDER SIX so tell us when seeking a price (NB: up to 2 per booking, excluded when calculating party size/rates and will need own travel cot if party-size with kids exceeds available beds).

4. DEPOSIT (KAUTION) of €150 per booking against loss or damage caused, which in the absence of loss or damage is returned in full upon departure.

5. FINAL CLEANING. The standard cleaning charge is €30, taken at the time of booking.

6. UNDEROCCUPANCY: We may decline small parties during periods of high demand.

B. PAYMENT TERMS:

We accept payment in Euro and GB Pounds, by bank transfer (preferred), debit cards, PayPal or credit cards (not cheques). There is a GB Pounds £20 fee for credit card or Paypal payments. The following payments are due:

-For bookings more than one month in advance: 50% due at time of booking with the final balance due at one month from start of rental period.

-For bookings one month or less in advance: Full payment is due at the time of booking.

CANCELLATION TERMS:

If you wish to cancel your reservation before the arrival date, you will be responsible for paying the following cancellation charges: For cancellations...
- More than two months in advance: 10 % of rental price.
- Two months or less in advance: 25 % of rental price.
- One month or less in advance: 80% of rental price.
- 14 days or less in advance: 100% of rental price.
YOU ARE ADVISED TO HAVE YOUR OWN TRAVEL INSURANCE.
C. SHORT STAYS AND LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS:

GAP-FILL BOOKINGS: Even though we have minimum-stay requirements (3 nights normally and 6 nights in high season), we sometimes accept shorter stays to fill unlet gaps in our calendar - please ask!

LAST MINUTE DEALS: We want to fill our apartment with happy customers, so if you see that it's free, and there are less than 7 days to go, we will sometimes be flexible about the price and minimum number of nights - please ask!

We think you'll find it hard to find a better bargain holiday apartment, holiday flat, or holiday home, or even business trip apartment, anywhere in central Berlin, not just in terms of our competitive prices but also in terms of the quality and convenience of the apartment. Unlike many holiday apartments, ours is in a prime neighbourhood of central west Berlin.

Although our apartment is available over public holidays, our representatives in Berlin do not work on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, or over the Easter Weekend, so please do not plan to arrive or leave on one of those days.
