The house is finished to a high standard with 2 large lounges, an ample kitchen diner, downstairs WC and 6 spacious bedrooms, 1 with an en-suite shower room. The house is within walking distance of several local attractions and amenities with the ancient Castle just a few minutes walk away. There is also a small children's play area within a minutes walk of the house. Kidwelly has many pubs & tea rooms as well as all of the usual takeaway options. There is also a large supermarket as well as a late closing shop just 1 minutes walk away. There are many other attractions which are a short car journey away and these include FFos Las Racecourse, Pembrey Country Park, the National Botanical Gardens, several museums and other castles, Oakwood theme park, Folly Farm and Heatherton. For shoppers Kidwelly is situated between Carmarthen and Llanelli with Swansea close by too.

The ancient town of Kidwelly is a beautiful location with it's own 10th century castle.There are nearby beaches at Ferryside and over 10 miles of sandy beach only a couple of miles away at Cefn Sidan. One of the oldest pubs in Wales is only 1 minute walk away and the castle, nearest shop and tea rooms are all less than 5 minutes walk away. It is also an ideal location for Carmarthen and Llanelli towns, Aberglasney and National Botanic Gardens, Ffos Las Race Course, Pembrey Race Course, Pembrey Country Park and within easy reach of Pembrokeshire, Brecon Beacons and Gower Peninsula.

We have had a very enjoyable stay. The house is gorgeous and very spacious. We have enjoyed walking along the beach and visiting the amazing castle. The hot tub was a big hit with both the adults and the kids!!

Very comfortable
Christmas 2010
We have thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas together in this large, very comfortable family home. Some braved the sub zero temperatures outside to try the hot tub! The castle was well worth the visit.

Simply... an absolutely perfect place
So... the house was more than fantastic which gave us much more than an amazing time. The hot tub was used and enjoyed by all - the rooms were spacious and everything was to the highest standard. We forgot to sign the guest book so hope that you can enter our thoughts in it on our behalf. Simply... an absolutely perfect place and the owners are unbelievably friendly, helpful and genuinely caring that their guests have the best of times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
