Located in an exclusive conservation village on the Cape Peninsula, this unique villa offers a true escape for those wishing to leave the hurly-burly of the city behind.
Sip cocktails in the pool and dream as it merges into sea beyond, watch whales, meander down to the local beach, or simply snooze to the sound of the waves breaking below.
Unobstructed 180 degree views up and down the magnificent coastline. The house faces west to capture the best of the Cape's wonderful sunsets over the sea. Watch WHALES close inshore from the comfort of home during the breeding season (Aug - Dec). Views of the sea and mountains can be enjoyed from all rooms in the house and from the elevated pool. By night, brilliant star gazing. The house is not part of a complex and no facilities are shared with any other holiday makers - it's all yours! Additional pictures and a location map are available by email on request.
More about the interior of the house: The interior has been finished by an interior designer in collaboration with the owner. The aim is a stylish yet relaxing interior. The house is tiled throughout. All three bedrooms are ensuite. Each bedroom/ bathroom combination is unique, with bathrooms finished individually with high quality Italian tiles and fittings. The main bedroom has its own balcony and a bathroom with bath and his and her shower heads and wonderful views. The house is serviced weekly (more frequently on request at reasonable rates), with all linen and towels provided. The kitchen is fully equipped. The house has metal roller blinds on all windows allowing control of sunlight as well as providing security should guests wish to sleep with doors open. The house is in a safe area but for added comfort is alarmed and connected direct to a local security patrol company.
More about nearby amenities: The house is about 50 minutes' drive from central Cape Town and its international Airport. (Arrangements can be made to meet guests at the airport and guide them to the house if desired). There are also a number of more attractive (slower) coastal and inland drives to get to central Cape Town and its popular Waterfront. The historic vineyards at Constantia and Steenberg are a short drive away. The house is located close to Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve and, over a short mountain pass, to the historic naval town of Simon's Town with its boutiques, cafes and yacht basin and to Boulders, well known for its penguin colony and protected swimming. Fishhoek with its long, safe beach for kids and the eclectic fishing village of Kalk Bay are both a leisurely half hour's drive away. Scarborough, with its quaint restaurant and local shops, is the closest town and is a 5 minute drive away. There are supermarkets, cinemas and other shops, golf, etc within a 15 minute drive.

Misty Cliffs is a unique conservation village on the west coast of the Cape Peninsula; same coast as Clifton and Llandudno and about as far south as the historic naval base of Simon's Town which is located on the peninsula's east (False Bay) coast. Misty Cliffs is a quiet, upmarket village with no commercial activities like shops and restaurants to spoil the tranquillity, yet these amenities can be found as close as 10 minutes away. There are also several golf courses within a 20 minute drive, including those in the historic Constantia winelands, as well as other sports and recreational facilities.
