This beautifully appointed four star, two bedroom, two bathroom, first floor apartment has all the comforts of a luxury holiday home. Situated in the picturesque Southern Peninsula of Cape Town on the warm Indian Ocean this sleepy fishing village of Kalk Bay is a famous tourist destination and is the perfect place to relax and unwind as it is noted for its antiques shops, art galleries and working harbour.

Kalk Bay is just a mere five minute walk away to the local harbour where guests can watch the fisherman unload their catch, buy fresh fish or do lunch at one of the a' la carte restaurants. Guests can also have a refreshing swim at the tidal pool and beach which is a one minute walk from the apartment with larger beaches only five minutes drive away. Other numerous nearby activities are golf courses, wine farms, V&A Waterfront, Simonstown and Boulders Beach, boat trips, sea fishing, Table Mountain, diving and cage diving, sailing, adventure sports such as abseiling, paragliding and sand boarding, shopping, restaurants, hiking, picnicking, cycling and scenic drives.

While in the evening, guests can take a leisurely stroll to one of the numerous quality restaurants or bistro and enjoy an evening meal and drinks whilst listening to the crash of the ocean waves. Or guests may take the scenic train journey along the water’s edge to an amazing local surfing spots or beautiful gently sloping beaches. Simonstown is only a ten minute drive away and is being noted for its safe beaches with resident Jackass Penguins. It has a huge amount of history with many museums to explore, boat trips from the harbour and shops to get that all important gift.

Also guests can visit various attractions such as the world famous Table Mountain which provides the backdrop to the city bowl where the adventurous can hike to the summit or for those who are not quite energetic, the revolving cable car affords beautiful views of the city and beyond, the city centre offering excellent shopping and restaurants as does the Waterfront which is a fully operational working harbour where one can not only watch the ocean liners and fishing boats but can also take excursions such as boat trips, a tour of Robben Island, helicopter flights and many others. Lastly is the Cape which is famed for its stunning vineyards. Kalk Bay is on the doorstep of the Cape wine lands and Constantia where guests can visit the historical farms and enjoy wine tasting and stock up on their favorite vintage.

Inside, Stone’s Throw can sleep up to 6 people offering a queen size bed in the main bedroom, twin beds in the second bedroom and two comfortable sleeper couches in the spacious lounge. Each bedroom has a built in cupboards while the main bedroom is en suite with a pristine shower and toilet. The apartment has a beautiful kitchen with granite tops and all the appliances a chef could need. Guests can enjoy breakfast looking out over the ocean at the breakfast bar and supper on the balcony with the Indian Ocean as the perfect backdrop. While on the spacious lounge is a flat screen television with satellite viewing for cozy evenings at home with a choice of movies or for catching that all important sporting event. There is also a dining room table set on the original Oregon pine floor faces the folding doors which retract fully so the balcony and lounge become one area with the most perfect view from any angle.
