Kalk Bay is just a mere five minute walk away to the local harbour where guests can watch the fisherman unload their catch, buy fresh fish or do lunch at one of the a' la carte restaurants. Guests can also have a refreshing swim at the tidal pool and beach which is a one minute walk from the apartment with larger beaches only five minutes drive away. Other numerous nearby activities are golf courses, wine farms, V&A Waterfront, Simonstown and Boulders Beach, boat trips, sea fishing, Table Mountain, diving and cage diving, sailing, adventure sports such as abseiling, paragliding and sand boarding, shopping, restaurants, hiking, picnicking, cycling and scenic drives.
While in the evening, guests can take a leisurely stroll to one of the numerous quality restaurants or bistro and enjoy an evening meal and drinks whilst listening to the crash of the ocean waves. Or guests may take the scenic train journey along the water’s edge to an amazing local surfing spots or beautiful gently sloping beaches. Simonstown is only a ten minute drive away and is being noted for its safe beaches with resident Jackass Penguins. There is also a dining room table set on the original Oregon pine floor faces the folding doors which retract fully so the balcony and lounge become one area with the most perfect view from any angle. Finally, guests can soak at the bubbling spa bath while having a glass of wine and viewing the beautiful sights of the Cape over the ocean where one might even catch a view of whales and dolphins at the Jacuzzi.
