Description
Brodie Cottage is situated on the edge of the Silvermine Nature Reserve. If you just want to relax by the pool its ideal but its position means it is great for touring the whole of the Western Cape. The centre of Cape Town with all it has to offer is only 30 minutes away. Take the coastal road over Chapman's Peak drive. The views are quite spectacular looking down to the 6km long Noordhoek beach or towards Hout Bay and then have lunch at restaurant on the edge of the beach. Just so much to do and explore right on the doorstep!

There is downstairs bedroom with queen size bed and French windows leading out to the garden.
There is an en-suite bathroom to downstairs bedroom with bath, w/c, basin and separate shower.
There is an upstairs bathroom with w/c, bath, shower and basin.
The open plan kitchen opens out into the family room with French windows leading out to the garden and pool. It is fully equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, large electric oven and hob with an extractor hood, coffee maker etc.
Attached to the double garage there is a utility room with an automatic washing machine and separate tumble drier. There is also an adjoining toilet and wash hand basin.
The family room with comfortable sofa has a TV and DVD/CD player. The separate lounge with two sofas, and a selection of chairs has an open fireplace. The adjoining dining room has seating for a minimum of six.
All linen and towels are included. We also provide fresh coffee, tea etc and a 'Welcome' pack. Brodie is cleaned weekly and should wish a maid or babysitting service or car hire this can be arranged for you at an additional cost.
Brodie Cottage is ideal for either a family or a couple who like lots of space and peace and quiet but be close to good restaurants and beaches. A good place to totally relax or if you wish to explore or do lots of walking it’s very easy to do so.
Brodie Cottage has a delightful private garden. There is a patio area with wooden table and chairs overlooking the large swimming pool but there's lots of other choices for sitting and enjoying the garden.
Having a bedroom and bathroom downstairs the cottage is suitable for someone with moderate mobility problems but it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Fishhoek beach is about a ten to fifteen minute drive away. It has the influence of the Indian Ocean and is ideal for swimming and has a sandy beach. Noordhoek beach is only five minutes away - miles of lovely sand and super for a walk or riding but not ideal for bathing as its on the Atlantic side and the water is cold.
There is a number of golf courses, the closest (Clovelly) which can be seen in the distance from the kitchen window looking towards the beach at Fishhoek. Another is Westlake which is about a ten minute drive away.
