Large shutter windows offer a charming view of the mountains. There is a toilet and shower en suite, with heated towel rails. Underfloor heating throughout.
The kitchen is a cook's delight, with every mod con from concealed work station to integrated fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A handy hatch opens up to the patio so you can serve your guests straight from the kitchen.
The living area in Harbour Place has been designed to feel like your "home away from home". The high arched lead-glass windows, beautiful Tasmanian teak floors and interesting nooks and crannies all add up to make this a very unique stay. This exact corner of the historic Kings Hotel used to be the Hotel Bar and Lounge where skippers and boat owners came to unwind after a day out on the sea. Today, you can relax in eclectic style while you flip through DSTV channels, veg out on the couch with a book or watch the passing parade of Kalk Bay through the clever one-way corner window.
To make the most of the lovely summer weather and breath-taking views, Harbour place has a patio with a table and 6 chairs as well as a gas barbecue for eating al fresco. A wooden deck with comfortable chairs offers you an uninterrupted view of the Kalk Bay Harbour , False Bay and the majestic mountains beyond. The small garden with its 2 loungers is perfect for relaxing and catching some rays.
