Akasha sits on a hillside in the exclusive Cap Estate looking over the Caribbean sea with views down to the world heritage site of the Pitons and the national park – Pigeon Island. From this unrivalled location you can watch the sail boats and mega yachts as they head into Rodney Bay marina. In the evening you can relax with a glass of wine and catch the stunning sunsets.

Every room boasts spectacular views, with huge floor to ceiling windows and minimum distractions from the stunning vistas. Akasha is for those who want modern living in the Caribbean.
Featuring a state of the art lighting system, and whole home music and video distribution you can relax by the pool with your favourite sounds delivered right from your iPod, the music server or internet radio.
Each bedroom has a flat-panel TV allowing you to choose a movie 'on demand' from the extensive movie library or watch cable tv. Control the mood lighting, audio, video, AC, security, fans and more from your remote or any panel. Alternatively you could just enjoy the peace and tranquillity offered by this location. At night time choose a scene from the lighting system – there are blue LED lights to create a tranquil environment.
The Great Room includes the Lounge, Dining space and the Kitchen. The Lounge is equipped with 50” plasma and surround sound. Natuzzi leather seating is sumptuous. Fold the 10ft high glass doors back to fully appreciate the views or just walk onto the main terrace to relax in the gentle breeze which blows across the location.
Strategic location of windows allows the breeze to pass through the house and reduce the need for the AC. The eco thinking has extended to capturing rain water in a separate tank and installation of solar panels for hot water.
In the Kitchen you will find Scavolini kitchen equipped with two ovens, microwave, fridge(x2) and freezer(x2), dishwasher. In the island unit there is an ice maker, wine cooler and seating for six. You can serve those special dishes either inside on the large glass dining table which has seating for 12, outside on the Dining terrace or in the intimate outdoor Nook area. Or barbecue on the large built-in Viking outdoor grill which is lit up at night and serve drinks to those sitting on the seats in the swimming pool.
Enjoy the 9 seat Home Theater with a 110" screen - fully ACed. The best in sound quality is created using a mix of Meridian and Linn speakers.
The games room offers pool, poker or table tennis. From here you can step out to the garden which has over 1000 local plants ranging from coffee to mangoes.
Take the elevator upstairs and entertain guests in main bar area and play the 1976 Yamaha baby grand piano. The elevator travels up to the master floor level which boasts a Super King size bed with views over Pigeon island and a private balcony. Lie in bed and watch the boats sailing down to Rodney bay. The bathroom boasts a double hot tub which has10 bodymassage jets and chroma-therapy lights.
The Master level also has an extra room which could be used as a Study or bedroom for a younger member of the family. Watch the world go by or stars from the Look-out.

One night we cooked a fantastic meal on the poolside barbeque grill and ate on the lovely outdoor dining area overlooking the ocean. Fred gladly took us to nearby beaches and to the store or the resort below when needed.
The site and the pictures simply don't show the true beauty of Akasha. The gourmet kitchen is more spectacular in person than it is in the pictures, and the words and pictures describing the resort's services and staff can't adequately reflect the welcome feeling and superb service they provide to guests.

For those looking for more than just another crowded upscale resort, a stay at Akasha is a fantastic alternative. It offers more amenities, more luxury, and of course far more space, and is far more private and peaceful. There are dozens of activities located within close proximity of the villa. The private tour of the island and the zip-lining in the rain forest were quite fun, and the restaurants recommended to us by the staff were all fantastic and quite convenient from the villa. Traveling with teenagers, it was especially nice for them to have their own bedrooms (and of course bathrooms). What a lovely place to unwind in the evening, with a glass of wine on the back terrace for the adults and a nice library of movies on the flat screens throughout the home for the kids.
The site and the pictures simply don't show the true beauty of Akasha. The villa and the pool were immaculate on arrival and throughout our stay.
The week at Akasha most definitely lived up to our expectations. We had the most pleasant vacation there we've ever had. Fred was absolutely amazing; he really knows the island and its people well and gladly helped us in deciding where to go and what to do and assisted in getting us there
Fred also took us on a couple of jaunts to the local places near Akasha in the Rodney Bay area that we enjoyed tremendously and would have never, ever experienced had he not been so kind as to take us there. He went way above and beyond in making us feel welcome and all agree our stay there wouldn't have been the same without him.
I think a lot more families would surely choose to stay in such a beautiful villa as Akasha over any crowded resort if they knew up front that such necessities as food and transportation were so easily arranged.
Our week was truly wonderful and we hope to return someday

Awesome St Lucia, awesome villa
This villa was everything we hoped it was going to be. The pictures on the website did not do the place justice - its far better than the pictures, not that the pictures are bad.
The views from the villa are really stunning and when the sun sets there is a glow over the Caribbean sea. We often sat on the terraces with a glass of wine or swam in the pool to watch the sunset.
The local beach is only a short walk but Fred did give us a lift back up the hill. We were impressed how close the bars and restaurants were - just a short taxi ride.
We were there for Jazz week and the main venue - Pigeon Island, was also just a short ride away. This meant we were able to get to the action quickly and retreat to the peace of the villa at the end of the day.
Fred and the staff were great, they couldn't do enough for us. His recommendations were spot on especially when we wanted more of the local culture.
When we arrived the villa was spotless and pool just sparkled. He explained to us how to work the audio and video and once we plugged our Ipod in, it was amazing to listen to that around the villa.
We treated ourselves one night and had a Chef cook dinner for us - now that made the whole vacation really special.
I would recommend the villa anyone looking for something special.
Akasha - beautiful home
We thought it (Aksaha) was beautifully done, reminded me a lot of my time in South Beach, Miami.
It is truly breath-taking and the ultimate home we would love to have out there. For our daughter it's ruined viewing anything else on island as they just don't compare.
From a construction background Justin looks at everything from that point of view, he was very impressed over-all, there were one or two little things that the workmen might have not done right, but having stayed at a few villa's out there we understand they don't always understand the high spec. stuff their working with.
For us Akasha still remains everything we'd love in a house, having looked at several out there yours is the ultimate, from a builders point of view we look at the price of the plot, build and to furnish so would look at how much it would cost us to do something like that one day, but by comparison to other properties, it is the best.
So for all the trips we've made in the past year and villas we've hired for one month, two months, three months etc, to our latest all that money wasted, as our daughter Tiffany keeps saying..see, Akasha would be a bargain!
You'd laugh how many people say,'the only property like mine on the island is Akasha!' which we find amusing considering your average villa in St Lucia and having been inside your wonderful home.
To bring my comments to a conclusion, the villa is beautiful, it is the ultimate home.
