Description

This is a family home in Spain, chosen for its beautiful and private location – set well back from the road so you can sunbathe around the pool in privacy. All aspects of the villa offer stunning views, whether down the valley to the sea at Palamos or across to wooded slopes. We have equipped all areas, including the kitchen, to a very high standard.

The four bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a queen size bed, one a standard double and the remaining two are twin-bedded. The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and balcony. All linen is provided and changed on a weekly basis. To the front is a large terrace with dining and seating areas and secure gates, making this a very child safe area.

NOTE: - A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to secure each booking, with the final balance to be paid 8 weeks before the holiday start-date please.

- A breakage/security deposit of £250 is required, to be paid upon arrival - this deposit will be refunded to you, less any breakage costs, within 14 days of the end-date of the holiday.

- A charge of 150€ will be made for cleaning the property and luandering the bed linens & Towels at the end of your holiday, which is payable with the final balance.

- We strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance because, if you cancel and we are not able to re-let your booking period, we cannot provide any refund once the final balance has been paid.

-Minimum stay is usually a week, and changeover day is normally Saturday, but we may be able to be flexible on bookings made outside the peak & high summer periods.

Car required?	recommended The spacious and tastefully furnished villa is located just outside of the charming medieval village of Calonge, where each property is set in its own private grounds on the southern flank of a wooded valley. Close by are glorious sandy beaches and beautiful rocky coves, ideal for watersports, including windsurfing and scuba diving. For those who prefer their sporting activity to be on land, there are numerous golf courses. The seaside towns of Palamos and Platja d'Aro are just a short drive away, but for those willing to travel more widely this area of Catalunya has much more to offer: Dali's museum and homes, historic Girona (a largely undiscovered gem of a city), cosmopolitan Barcelona, beautiful coastal or mountain walks, archaeological sites, numerous medieval villages, vineyards and so much more. The area also has many superb restaurants and whilst you may not manage a booking at 'El Bulli' the tasting menu at the elegant 'La Malcontenta' is something very special!
Local leisure activities	There are 8 excellent championship courses and 2 par 3 courses all within 5 - 40 minutes drive of from our luxury property. Five of which were voted among the top 50 golf courses in Europe by Golf World. The famous Mas Nou Golf Course, with its incredible views, lies at the top of the mountain directly opposite. Don’t assume that a low handicap ensures you won’t loose a few balls!!! For the less adventurous there are 7 other golf courses at normal altitude! The Club de Golf in Sant Cristina d´Aro, The Serres de Pals Golf Course & The Playa de Pals Golf Course in Pals, and the PGA Golf de Catalunya Golf Course only 20 mins away. A visit to the ever improving and expanding Emporda Golf Courses is essential. The Pitch & Putt par 3 golf courses are great quality golf courses, for the more inexperienced, or casual golfers, wishing to enjoy an afternoon of fresh air, and natural settings while chatting and entertaining with friends.
