Banana grove', in the village of Estreito da Calheta, is a newly built, south facing semi-detached house. It is only 150 metres above sea level and has spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and mountains.
The house sleeps 7, having 1 downstairs double bedroom with shower en-suite, suitable for the less physically able. 2 bedrooms upstairs, one having an en-suite, and a sofa-bed in the lounge. There is also only one step into the house and so should be suitable for wheelchair access.
The lounge is comfortable and the kitchen is modern and fully equipped. The bathrooms and shower rooms have underfloor heating. There is a private patio area with garden furniture and a small bbq. Ample private parking space with remote controlled electric gates and Security Phone Systems. Local cafe/bars, small shops and a mini-market are close by. 4 minutes by car will get you to Calheta's sandy beach and marina. It take approximately 25 minutes to drive to Funchal and 45 minutes to the airport.

'Banana Grove' sleeps 7 having 1 downstairs double bedroom with a shower en-suite, suitable for less physically able clients. Upstairs there is 1 twin-bedded room, with a bath/shower en-suite and another double bedroom. There is also a sofa bed in the lounge. There is a separate shower/toilet upstairs and another toilet downstairs. The lounge has seating and dining area for 7,and T.V/Video/DVD player.
The kitchen is modern and fully equipped, with an oven/grill/hob and extractor fan. There is a washing machine and tumble dryer and also a fridge/freezer and microwave. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils are provided. All the bathrooms/ shower rooms have underfloor heating. The sunny private patio area has garden furniture and a small bbq.
The prices include utilities, linen and towels, with a change of linen/towels if the stay is over 1 week. Additional cleaning and collection from the airport can be arranged at an extra charge.
