The yellow house is set in a traditional Bulgarian Village with two local bars, food stores and post office with fantastic views of the lake which offers pathways ideal for walks and scenery viewing. Perfect for families or for a quiet retreat.
It is also situated between Sredets & Burgas in a traditional Village called Konstantinovo. Burgas is located on the Black Sea and offers a number of beaches, fantastic shopping, bars and restaurants. Burgas is the forth largest city in Bulgaria. In Konstantinovo where guests can enjoy the peaceful tranquillity of village life. Guests may also take a short bus or car ride to get into Burgas.
Nesebar is one of the most prominent tourist destinations and seaports on the Black Sea, in what has become a popular area with several large resorts. The largest, Sunny Beach, is situated immediately to the north of Nesebar. Nesebar has on several occasions found itself on the frontier of a threatened empire, and as such it is a town with a rich history.
The ancient part of the town is situated on a peninsula (previously an island) connected to the mainland by a narrow man-made isthmus. Its abundance of historic buildings prompted UNESCO to include Nesebar in its list of World Heritage Sites in 1983. Nessebar has nine churches and fortified walls and a beautiful working fishing port perfect for a day of fishing. The small fishing boats bring in fresh fish for the local restaurants wherein guests can try out the local sea food cooking. The streets are cobbled with narrow walkways and small stone shops and houses. On the way to Nesebar there is also a fantastic water park which the whole family will enjoy specially for families who will be bringing their kids. Nesebar is about one hour drive from the yellow house.
Sozopol is a ancient town and seaside resort located 15 kilometers away from the south of Bourgas on the southern Bulgarian Black Sea Coast, in Bulgaria. Today the town is mostly a seaside resort known for the Apollonia art and film festival which takes place in early September. It is also named after one of Sozopol's ancient names. The busiest times of the year are the summer months, ranging from May to September as tourists from around the world come to enjoy the weather, sandy beaches, history and culture, fusion cuisine of Bulgarian, Greek, and Turkish). Not only that, tourists enkoys the atmosphere of the colourful resort as it caters to all ages providing entertainment and dining experience.
The increasing popularity of the town has led to it being dubbed the Bulgarian St. Tropez, seeing stars like Ralph Fiennes, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and Goldfrapp exploring its beauty and charm. Sozopol is a lovely place to visit as it only takes approximately a 30 minute drive from the yellow house.
The yellow house offers a large open plan living area located downstairs. The dining area is located nearby the windows and door to the rear and side of the property. The lounge has TV, DVD and two sofas, one which converts to a double sofa bed while the kitchen is fully equipped with cooker, microwave, hob, washing machine, fridge freezer. Also downstairs is a large entrance hall with staircase and shower room with WC. Upstairs is a landing area with doors to the three bedrooms, all with access to balconies, and a second shower room with WC.
It also has its own swimming pool which is available between May to September, gardens and BBQ area. The inside of the property has been recently decorated throughout and is fully furnished. The outside offers a summerhouse with table and chairs and a lovely private lawn area. The property is enclosed with a fence and an entrance gate to the front. For guests who will be renting a car, the parking area is just located outside the front gate.
There is a local bus service which runs into Bourgas where restaurants, boutiques, shops, museums, beaches and sport facilities can be found. Approximately, it is only 5 miles away of distance from the small village of Sredets where guests can find bank, supermarket, restaurants and a local market. Guests can also do a short drive away from Nessebar, Sozopol and the Black Sea.
Upon arrival, the guests will be provided with a small welcome pack of bread and milk. Linen is provided and beds will also be made upon their arrival. Unfortunately there is no maid service during their stay. However, there are a few British and Bulgarian people who reside in the village who will be willing to bring help to the guests with any queries or provide them with any information that they would be needing.
