Description

Blackberry and Bramblewood cottages have two to three bedrooms and sleep four to six guests (plus up to two cots). They both detached self catering cottages with countryside views and each with a private enclosed garden.

We offer a choice of two '4 Star' rated self catering holiday cottages, in a peaceful setting, with countryside views, but only 1½ miles from Bude in North Cornwall with its wide sandy beaches, rock pools and great surf. They sleep 4 - 6 (plus cots), and you can enjoy great facilities including indoor heated pool, free Wi-Fi, children's play areas in a large meadow behind the cottages and games room.

Each cottage is detached, with its own private enclosed garden, and has:

Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, freezer, ceramic hob, etc

LCD wall mounted TV, DVD player, Video player, films & books

Cot, highchair, toddler's step, bed guard and blackout curtains

Beautiful bathroom with towels provided, & beds made up for you

Blackberry Lodge is a modern detached single storey holiday cottage with two bedrooms. It is right next door to Bramblewood Cottage, was purchased in 2006, and has been beautifully furnished and equipped for holiday makers.

Blackberry is a very cosy cottage and makes an ideal base for a family with children or group of four adults and a baby. With all the facilities required for a perfect self-catering holiday, you can enjoy lazy evenings with a BBQ in the enclosed and well stocked private rear garden, or a morning coffee on the large front terrace with colourful planted borders and a bench to savour the views over the rolling countryside. Ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers, it is non-smoking and does not accept pets.

Bramblewood is a very welcoming comfortable cottage which, with three bedrooms, two bathrooms and a dishwasher makes an ideal holiday base for a family or up to six adults and a toddler. It's a single-storey detached cottage, having a large garden, from the rear of which you can glimpse the sea.

The self-catering cottage is particularly suitable for bringing along extra guests, such as grandparents, or friends, as there are two bathrooms, so there are no hold-ups getting out in the mornings to enjoy the wonderful Cornwall countryside and beaches.

Ideal for asthma and allergy sufferers, it is non-smoking and does not accept pets.

We frequently use the cottage ourselves, and have tried to provide extra touches that ensure you'll have a great holiday. Bramblewood has a large front terrace, and the photo below is the view looking down towards the central area of Trevalgas, and shows the proximity of the parking.

Many of Bude's sandy beaches are kept dog free, clean, safe and patrolled by lifeguards in summer. Choose a different beach each day, there are at least seven within a five mile drive of the cottage. (Duckpool, Sandymouth, Northcott Mouth, Summerleaze, Crooklets Crackington Haven, and Widemouth) Enjoy walking, surfing, body boarding, investigating the rock pools, or building sandcastles.
