Valley view is a AA 4* rated rural cottage is a vivid sunny open plan cottage with oak beams. The views from the house are outstanding with sunsets directly over the Valley providing an out of this world backdrop that changes every day!
Bude and Boscastle are in close proximity with countless historical features, shops and restaurants. Ideal for walkers and cyclists, the coastal path and cycle routes are well signposted outside the cottage. The cottage is the winter home of writer James Webb and artist Rae Pugh and if yearning to learn watercolour painting, then Rae can arrange tuition at the cottage.
The close proximity to the A39 Atlantic Highway, allows the guests to explore Cornwall effortlessness taking in the enchantments of Bude, Boscastle, Tintagel and Crackington Haven. Or perchance a trip to the South Coast to visit Charlestown, the Eden Project and the numerous Manor Houses and Gardens for which Cornwall is renowned.
North Cornwall has a long sea faring tradition and the coastal towns and tourist information offices cover the history of the maritime fleets and of course the Cornish Wreckers! The North Cornish coastline is rugged and has some of the best beaches in Cornwall with the Surfing town of Newquay and our own Widemouth Bay close by. Bodmin Moor is a short drive away with the moorland ponies, lakes and World War 2 Air Museum to explore. Quaint village pubs and elegant Manor Houses and Gardens are all close at hand.
St Gennys Church is in one of the most beautiful spots overlooking the coastal path and the Atlantic Ocean.
Bude Bay has its own microclimate and Bude is well-known for the annual Jazz festival held early September. Crackington Haven and Widemouth Bay have excellent beaches a few minutes drive from the cottage.
Boscastle has its well-known fishing port and Tintagel takes the guests a step back in time to the Arthurian legends.
