Strand hotel penthouse suite is a unique and enviable holiday. Imagine having a private roof top terrace with spectacular views out to the sea, views over Bude and a self contained apartment at the top of a luxury hotel. There are open plan communal areas and four double bedrooms with four bathrooms!
As guests move through the refurbished hotel guests will be given a taste of what's to come with lots of polished granite, natural wood set against shiny chrome. A lift or stairs take guests up to the top of the Hotel. The Penthouse appreciates magnificent views over Bude to the sea, the North Cornish coastline seen from a unique vantage point: mesmerizing! The top floor is a self contained penthouse apartment for self catering whilst still having the benefit of the hotel facilities on the ground floor. It is well appointed and well equipped with design and style in mind and little touches of luxury. It is the best luxury being the views and the decked private terrace with seating.
The Hotel has a Brasserie Restaurant and Bar fitted out beautifully for guests to enjoy with a very reputable and tempting menu. There is also a Chicago Restaurant offering pizzas and pasta's. Breakfast is served daily. Weekly entertainment adds to guest’s enjoyment with musicians, bands, comedians and much more to add to guest’s enjoyment.
Cornwall is in the South West of England and offers rugged coastlines offering over one hundred twenty five beaches popular for surfers and families. There are moorlands such as Dartmoor and its famous prison, lakes and rivers. Cornwall is renowned for its historic buildings including The Minack Theatre, St Michaels Mount and Restormel Castle are just a few examples.
The steep climb up English Heritage’s stone staircase at Tintagel is worth every step - the island offers breathtaking views and some remaining walls of King Arthur’s castle, where the Knights of the Round Table once met. Boscastle is just a few miles from Tintagel an idyllic village with craft shops and museums, a truly impressive walk to the natural harbor lined with colossal cliffs. Cornwall is a true gem and not to be missed!
Bude is a haven for surfing for both the experienced or novice. Alternatively guests can enjoy the sandy and rocky coves. The Town is busy with its restaurants, bars, various shops not to forget the pastry shops! A small but busy Town with a canal-running by meeting at the River Neet. At the famous lock gate here guests have the perfect vantage point to appreciate the beautiful sandy beach at Summerleaze with its infamous natural sea pool.
Children from generations have learnt to swim here. Beyond this lovely place there is even more to enjoy with Crackington Haven, Boscastle and Clovelly all only a short drive away. For places of Historical interest Tintagel is also nearby. The Eden project is less than an hour's drive away now as a live entertainment venue as well as being an amazing experience with its ecosystems. I could just go on and on so I would just suggest a visit!

Directions
From the M5 (junction 30), tak ethe A30 west bound towards Okehampton. Turn off at Launceston, taking the 3rd exit from the roundabout towards the town centre. Continue on this road, taking a shrp bend to the left and downhill just before the town centre. Continue to the foot of the hill and, at the mini roundabout, continue straight on up St Stephens Hill. Stay on this road until you reach Red Post crossroads (with the Red Post Inn on your right). Turn left towards Bude, and follow this road into Stratton. Turn left at the T junction then, after about 500 metres, right towards Bude Town Centre. When you reach the centre, turn right at the mini-roundabout, then right again just before the Strand Hotel. Parking is available in the car park under Strand Court apartments.
