The chalets have been totally refurbished and are proving very popular. Please note they are chalets, and therefore small, but make excellent bases for family holidays. We now have a choice of two, three or four bedroom chalets at South Shore Holiday Village, to sleep 4-8.
The 4-bedroom chalets are actually two semis with a linking door through the bedrooms. They are excellent for 2 families to share.
The chalet site is perfect for kids and dogs, a very short, safe walk to the beach.
There are (seasonal) on site shops, Restaurant, Amusements and Entertainment.
Makis Entertainment complex is a short walk away.
The walking is wonderful - a twenty minute stroll along the seafront takes you into the heart of Bridlington, or explore the empty shoreline further South.
All the chalets have Flat Screen TVs, Freeview, PS2 and games, DVD player and Discs.
Kitchens are small but have everything you need supplied, including a good range of crockery and cutlery and basics such as washing-up liquid, dishcloths, salt, pepper, tea, coffee, sugar etc. The Shower rooms are all completely refurbished.
We find many of our visitors prefer to bring their own linen, so we provide only quilts and pillows as standard. We can provide the linen for an additional £25, if required. Please state your preference on the booking form.
Chalets 1 and 2 are semi-detached, Chalets 3 and 5 are detached so slightly bigger.
Chalets 1,2 and 3 all have two bedrooms and sleep 4.
Chalet 5 has three bedrooms and sleeps 7.
Cabins 1 and 2 are adjacent semis with an interlinking door so they can be booked together to make a 4-bedroom detached.
We are currently refurbishing Cabin 3 - when complete it will interlink with Cabin 4 to make another 4-bedroom Detached Chalet.
Please note, however, they are Chalets, therefore small. What you see in the photos is what you get. If you are looking for indoor space, then the apartments in the centre of town will suit you better.
The chalets offer an outdoor lifestyle, with direct beach access, and we stay there in preference to the flats nearly every time. We love the relaxed way of life and the sense of community the park has.The beach is one of the best on this coast, and the adjoining countryside offers miles of walks and lanes to cycle on.
If you like the outdoors, you'll love it. If you're a townie, stay in our flats!
Several of the two-bedroom chalets have a double bed settee in the lounge. These are designed to accommodate overnight guests. These 2-bed chalets do sleep 6, but are not intended for huge families staying for long periods. However, if you want to squash in, you are welcome to do so.
Chalets 3 and 5 are detached, and slightly bigger than the other chalets, with a seperate kitchen. Chalet 3 is the only one with a bath and shower over.
The semis (Chalets 1 and 2, and Cabins 1,2 ,3 and 4) have an open plan lounge/ kitchen and shower room.
All have private parking outside.
Chalets 1, 2 and 3 have a secure garden, so are popular for those with dogs.
Chalet 1 faces Southwest, so is perfect for enjoying the afternoon sun with a glass of wine and the smell of chargrilled burgers to complete the holiday atmosphere. The Chalet catches every ray of sun, so stays cosy even through winter. We stay all through the year, and love the beach in winter for long walks with the dogs. We completely gutted the chalet over the first winter- knocked down walls and installed a brand new kitchen with solid wood worktops. We also redesigned the bathroom to fit in a good size shower, toilet and sink.

The flats and chalets provide a perfect base for exploring the gorgeous East Coast of Yorkshire. The towns of Scarborough and Whitby are a short drive away, and picturesque villages such as Robin Hoods Bay and Staithes are in easy reach. Further afield are York, The North Yorkshire Moors and The Yorkshire Dales. The town of Bridlington offers everything for families and couples alike for a traditional seaside holiday. The beaches are blue flag, the nightlife is lively, and there is an abundance of recreational activities within walking distance. These include; wonderful blue flag beaches sea-fishing diving walking excellent dining shows and entertainment for all at the family refurbished Spa pubs and clubs fairground pleasure boats golf Slightly further afield there is horse riding, off-road driving etc.

Our chalets and Log Cabin are on South Shore Holiday Village, one mile south of Bridlington. The site is signposted from the A165 Bridlington to Hull Road, at the new roundabout to the Park and Ride. All the chalets and Log Cabin have private parking right outside, and in season the Park and Ride offers regular buses in to the centre of Bridlington. It's only a twenty minute stroll along the seafront though.
With seasonal entertainment, fish and chips and excellent Italian Restaurant, amusements, cafe, bars and shops on site, the chalets and Log Cabin offer a perfect spot for a relaxing holiday.
