Situated on the stunning Flamingo Country Club resort on Tuzla Lake is Melissa 23 apartment an excellent sized ground floor apartment offering air-conditioned living accommodation spread across an integrated living and dining area, 2 bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen.
It has a large roof terrace which offers stunning views of the resort with sun loungers, tables, chairs and sun umbrella where you can relax and enjoy private sun bathing. It is also just yards from a large communal swimming pool with views across the resort to the hills and mountains beyond. The apartment is very much recommended for couples, friends sharing or families and can be used twelve months of the year.
The place is very quiet and peaceful yet only twenty minutes from Bodrum and has easy access to all amenities including the local markets and many excellent restaurants for eating out.
It is in the Flamingo Country Club which is a stunning new development situated on Tuzla Lake, just 15 minutes from Milas-Bodrum Airport with links to all major European Airports, 20 minutes from Bodrum Town and close to historical Bogazici village. Flamingo is the number 1 holiday destination on the Bodrum peninsula thanks to its five star facilities, fabulous location, close proximity to golf, easy transportation links and the abundance of wildlife on its doorstep. No other resort on the Bodrum peninsula offers anything similar. The location of Flamingo Country Club is no accident. It is located on the water edge of Lake Tuzla that is the largest salt-water lake in the Bodrum Peninsula and looks across the lake to the rolling greens of the Vita Park Golf Resort.
And just near the area is Bodrum town, one of Turkey's most popular and cosmopolitan resorts. Renowned for its vibrant night-life, Bodrum is home to Europe’s largest outdoor nightclub ‘Halikarnas’. Bodrum also boasts of excellent restaurants serving fresh seafood and other Aegean specialities with a great museum and various local markets selling food and clothing which run throughout the week.
The heart of this town is around the harbour and marina, where shops, bars and restaurants jostle together in the narrow streets under the shadow of the St. Peter Castle. Leather goods of all kinds, natural sponges and the local blue glass beads (the Boncuk) are among the bargains to be found in the friendly little shops along the narrow, white-walled streets. Charming boutiques offer kilims, carpets, sandals and embroidery as well as original fashions.
Bodrum, known in ancient times as Halicarnassus was the birthplace of Heredotus and the site of King Mausolus' Tomb which is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the harbour, Bodrum Castle or the medieval castle of St. Peter is a fine example of 15th-century crusader architecture and has been converted into the Museum of Underwater Archaeology with remains dating as far back as the Bronze Age.
There are daily ferries to the Greek island of Kos in summer, and a weekly hydrofoil to Rhodes between May and September. Bodrum also is South Aegean's prettiest resort for scuba diving with a yacht harbour and a port for ferries. Bodrum has several dive centres that rent out equipment, arrange excursions and even provide diving lessons for the inexperienced individual eager to try out this underwater sport.

Direct flights to Milas-Bodrum International Airport from several UK airports in high season. Reduced number of direct flights in the low season.The airport is 10 km from Flamingo Country Club.
You can also fly to Dalaman or Izmir (with easyjet) and then travel on the coach to Bodrum or fly via Istanbul (easyjet).
Taxis are available 24 hours a day at the airport to meet flights. Airport transfers direct to the resort can be arranged.
