This beautiful, spacious two storey stylish first floor apartment with shared pool is very well equipped with lots of extras including air conditioning, a water cooler and DVD player.

The apartment has superb mountain views and is set in a quiet location in Turgutreis which provides a wide choice of bars and restaurants both local and international plus its new marina with designer boutiques sits alongside the traditional harbour with its gulets and fishing boats. It is also just a five minute stroll to the nearest beach and Turkish restaurants where guests can enjoy the fantastic views and sunsets beyond the nearby islands. A short walk further along the promenade brings guests to the town centre with its harbour, marina and wide variety of bars restaurants and boutiques.

This town of Turgutreis is situated at the furthest tip of the historic Bodrum Peninsula with fantastic views overlooking a horizon of ornamental islands and amazing sunset views. The Bodrum Peninsula is one of the most beautiful parts of Turkey's Aegean Coast for there are numerous small fishing villages and resorts around the coast each having their own individual character.

Bodrum is home to the famous Greek historian Herodotus but it is better known these days as a popular holiday resort with its enchanting villages of houses painted in white and trimmed with purple bougainvillea together with miles of sandy beaches and ideal locations for water sports.

Here in Turkey there is always something for the whole family from lying on the beach, participating in water sports or visiting some of the country's impressive cultural and historical sites. Day trips here may include Ephesus which is the largest archaeological site in the world, the stunning pools at Pamukkale, the traditional harbour in Turgutreis with a range of boat trips that visit many islands and secluded coves, the latest attraction which is theTurkish Hammam or steam bath and Octopus Water Park for the young at heart.

Bodrum and all other local places of interest are easily accessible from the apartment without the use of a car for there are excellent taxi or bus service called dolmus which are reliable mini-buses offering services all day to Bodrum and the surrounding area for around £1 per journey.

Other must see and do attractions and activities on offers includes a visit to Turgutreis market for fantastic fresh produce, clothes, handbags and lots of other goods at great prices, Saturday market in which is the largest on the peninsula and is a bright and colorful affair for bartering all kinds of goods, a Gulet cruise and tour secluded islands and beaches, boat ride to the Greek island of Kos, St Peter's Castle in Bodrum, jeep safari, horse riding, Turkish night of traditional food and dancing and the highly recommended trip to Gumusluk village known as the lost city of Myndos which is just close by and is very well famous for its fish restaurants.

The main tourist season in Turgutreis is 1st May to 31st October however direct flights are available from the UK all year round. Long term rentals are possible outside of this period - please enquire.
