Our luxury villas are situated 2000 feet up in the stunning Sierra de los Filabres Mountains National Park in the Almeria region of Andalucia. The villas are nestled in a cosy cove enjoying spectacular views across the Almanzora Valley to the Sierra Cabrera mountain range. The property offers a wonderful “get away from it all” holiday with the added advantage of the major facilities closeby at the coastal resort of Mojacar being just a 30 minute drive away. There are local bars, restaurants and shops just 10 minutes away in the stunning whitewashed mountain village of Bedar. A range of activities await you from gentle walks through the almond groves on the mountain to all the fun of the beach. The villa has been finished to an extremely high standard to ensure a carefree and enjoyable holiday in the heart of the Spanish countryside. Designed with living accommodation on the first floor to take maximum advantage of the spectacular panoramic views.
With breathtaking panoramic views to the Sierra Cabrera mountain range there is a beautifully landscaped terraced area with a large 10x5 metre heatable swimming pool with separate adjoining 6 person Jacuzzi. The pool area is well equipped with quality hardwood sun loungers a matching patio set of table and four chairs. The gazebo offers additional shade during hot summer afternoons as well as a hammock under the Carob tree. There is a lovely private garden accessible from the master bedroom suite offering a lovely peaceful setting. The property boasts a number of fruit trees including Olive, Fig, Orange, Lemon, Persimmon, Almond and Pomegranate.
There are several beaches near to the villa the closest around 30 minutes drive away. You can chose from bustling beaches in Mojacar and Vera with lots of lively beach cafes or a tranquil cove in one of the fishing villages.Please see the website for full details. Fantastic Villa in most peaceful location
The best villa we have stayed in and Paul was a pleasure to deal with. Remote and quiet location with excellent facilities in the villa. All very comfortable and a perfect get away from it all holiday. That being said, good grocery shopping only 30 mins away. We loved it here. In Portugal this would be £2000 a week!
We Had A Great Easter 2011@ Villa Cabrerra
We had a fantastic time at Easter. We rented both villa's. A lovely villa set off the beaten track, but if you want to relax away from disco's and kiss me quick hats you'll not do better than here. A short drive down to Bedar for the slow roast lamb is a must at the Miramar, and twenty minutes to Mojacar for the beach and nice cafe's and a great Chinese buffet at Vera beside the bull ring.We also found a great butcher at Turre to get our stuff for the barbque at the villa which we did most nights.
