Great location, neighbourhood of Sarria, 15 min to the centre of the city by bus or tube and also 15 min to the airport by cab (taxi) or 30 minutes by bus. 30 min to the coast by train and 20 min to the beach.
Good day and night life athmosphere, bars with terraces, restaurants, supermarkets, shops, banks, post office, all 2 min from the flat. Cinema, swimming pool, bike hire, tennis court, 10 min by bus from the flat

Сomfortable flat with paintings and old photos
We (a family with 6-years old child) enjoyed our stay in that cosy and elegant apartment with almost museum aura and a rare for Barcelona view on the mountain. It is located in a safe and pleasant district. It is not "the very heart of the town", but I think Barcelona is so big and interesting, that you always depend on public transport or taxi.
From here you can easily reach by car Parc Güell and by foot Finca Güell (and Portail Miralles on Passeig de Manuel Girona).
